I'm listening to a band called Maximo Park. Genius - on a similar level to Keane but they don't sound like them.

I recently discovered Michelle Tumes thanks to Caite.
It's a fantastic singer from Australia.
I didn't find her album in my music store so I'll probably order it online very quickly.

My mom was really into alternative music like. I think she liked Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge. There is a singer Heather Nova that she really liked. She is like a Bermudan artist. They also put on classical music to try and get me to sleep. So I did hear some classical music. I think it was when I started to learn the violin and the piano and also when I went to ballet as well, they played classical music.

I haven’t written any of my own songs yet, but when I do I’d love to be able to write like Heather Nova. It always takes a few times before I can grasp what she’s writing about. I saw her in concert last year, and when I met her afterwards I told her she’s been an inspiration to me even though it always seemed embarrassing to say that kind of thing.

No WAYY!!! Heather Nova (well Heather Frist actually) is very cool.

I didn't known about her until I first read that interview. I quickly went over to Napster and was impressed.(Well Hayley does have good taste in music.)

Peter, had it not been for Hayley, I don't suppose I would have heard of Heather. Soon after they appeared together, there was some suggestion that Simon might build a website for Heather. I saw some designs in the early stages but I am not sure that the site was ever officially launched.

Heather does have a forum of which I'm a member but its not nearly as nice as this place. I can't tell you if the forum owner over there reads the site either All I know is that he never got back to me to activate my account

Heather has a really nice voice but its a bit lower than Hayley's - very pretty nonetheless I think growing up on a boat in Bermuda must have been kind of cool...
