Hey Mark How would you feel if you spent 5000 dollars us in plane tickets and hotels and the concert was arbitrary canceled so so Hayley could record a CD. Larry

Hi Larry, My thoughts are with you,
I know what it is like to plan, book and anticipate a tour like this and have it all do a Jim Reeves or Patsy Cline on you
I fall to Pieces...

Hi Tony and everyone, Yes, sadly, Portsmouth is definitely cancelled. I have posted a statement from Bedlam Management Ltd in the Battle of Britain general thread here - it includes ticket refund information. More information as we receive it. Dave

HI Larry,
I can understand your frustration too, especialy because this is for you the second time this happens...... For me it is strange too, to see that 3 of the 8 concerts are cancelled.I'm very curious what the reason is. Be happy, that you are going to see Hayley in Croydon and Cardiff !

This is exactly the reason I'm very hesitant to travel to see Hayley, because it would be just my luck for something like this to happen. I would probably still take the trip, just so my money wouldn't be wasted, and because I wouldn't miss a chance to see those places, even without seeing Hayley. It is still extremely disappointing and inconvenient. Hello Larry, I understand your frustration, but bad language will not be tolerated on this forum. Apparently some is. So he must've said something pretty rotten to get it censored.

Hi Libby,
I think it is totally justified for Larry to swear a bit in that situation. I have been there myself, twice, Hayley concerts I had tickets for were canceled. But in my case, all it cost me was a day of my annual holiday allowance and the booking fee.
If I had made plans involving intercontinental travel and accommodation, I would have been tempted to swear myself.
Larry, you have my sympathy. So it seems that even a concert confirmed by Bedlam is no guarantee..
If the reason is Hayley being unfit to perform due to say illness, that I can have sympathy with, but a simple mix up over dates, if that is what it was, should not be allowed to happen.
If there is a prior engagement, it should stand, however inconvenient. To my knowledge Hayley has never ever done this, and there is actually some evidence that it wasn't her decision, since she didn't seem to know that Wolverhampton had been cancelled. That might be some comfort, although we are entitled to be angry with whoever it was who made that decision.
BTW I don't have tickets for any of the cancelled concerts. I just feel that to confirm a concert and go back on it for a logistical reason is unacceptable. That should have been known about before the concert was confirmed.

Richard was the one who scolded him, not me. I don't blame him, either, although I don't think he should put a swear word directly on the forum. I was just commenting on what the forum censors and what it doesn't.

I'm sorry to learn about this Larry. Performances are not as finalized as we would like them to be. My first Hayley concert was postponed due to extra time needed on the Odyssey album.
Libby , re forum censoring, if you might think a word might be censored it prob is!
