Hello folks! I should draw your attention to the letter that came with your ticket(s). It says something to the effect that if you don't use your ticket(s) it could affect your chances for future applications. The tickets are named and numbered, so the BBC will probably keep a record if you don't turn up. Richard

Hi Dave,
Yeah, I had been wondering if that was the reason. We don't know, and we may never know but I think that is highly likely.

I explained simply that I was no longer able to make the performance. The Scottish lady I spoke to was very appreciative and it was a simple matter to cancel my ticket. They have a reserve list and will reallocate my seat so, if you aren't going to use your ticket, please give someone else the opportunity to do so! Best wishes Grant

Hi Dave,
I wasn't going to say anything as I wasn't sure if that conversation was for general release outside of those of us who were there, but that's the first thing I thought of when I read that she wouldn't be appearing there..
It's still a shame though
Regards,
Chris

Hi Dave, I wasn't going to say anything as I wasn't sure if that conversation was for general release outside of those of us who were there, but that's the first thing I thought of when I read that she wouldn't be appearing there.. It's still a shame though You're quite right Chris, as always, we need to take care when discussing such matters but in this case, concerns had been expressed about Hayley's well-being and it seemed only right to allay the fears with what seems to have been a reasonable guess, as it could be done without giving too much away (because we didn't know all that much anyway) But now it seems, it's all academic because: Hold everything! ... HAYLEY WILL BE APPEARING AT THE MERMAID ON MONDAY.Thanks to Bedlam Management for the information. Yay, thanks Roger for the good news! Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the good news Roger! I had come on today to say that I was still planning on going no matter what because I love West Side Story and the music plus the atmosphere of the Friday Night is Music Night recordings. Hope to see you all there!

I hope you get your ticket back, Grant! To continue the countdown... Three days to go!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDon't forget, we're meeting at 5:30pm, and the Mermaid Theatre is adjacent to Blackfriars Station on the north bank of the River Thames. If you're travelling by Underground, Blackfriars is on the District and Circle Lines. See you there, Richard
