Hi everyone, After having a chat with Nicola, we've agreed to change the title of this thread to Classical-Crossover.co.uk and this is where future posts relating generally to her site will normally be made. Nicola's 'Hayley' interview thread in the Media board will remain separate. To tidy up, I need to move a few posts made today across to this thread, which I will do shortly as a series of "quotes" in a single post. Posts moved from Hayley Interview thread (directly or indirectly!) by Dave - see above explanation. Hayley has taken the top spot of my users chart on my website.

There is also the editor's top ten, which is the fancy way of saying my personal favourites, lol. That can be seen here.
Sadly, out of over 55 artists, Jonathan Ansell is fourth from bottom! Someone must have some vendetta against him!

Seems to me more likely to reflect the 'Users' (poor) tastes in music.
PaddyWell, if someone doesn't like him, I guess that's fair enough.
I forgot to mention that page also has a "bottom ten" chart. A lot of artists on there deserve better, but hey.

How does the voting work. Is the top ten based on average rating, or on number of votes? Or some combination of the two.
Martin It's a combination of the two.
It it were done on average rating alone, that means someone with 1 vote for 5/5 would be at the top, lol! And if someone votes 100 times for 1/5, well, that hardly merits a top spot either.
So yes, a combination of the two. |

Hayley's back on top of the user chart, where she should be. Interesting to note that you can vote on that thing daily. I wonder how quickly Hayley might gain an unassailable lead |
