Paul Salvage - "I Did It My Way" National Anthem -END- As already said, for me personally 'We'll Meet Again', 'Jerusalem' and 'Land of Hope and Glory' sung by Hayley was new. The auditorium was quite enthusiastic and as usual I can’t exclude me, of course. Actually the concert was a charity for the RBL on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, so it was quite different in relation to the concerts I’ve gone before… Well, after the concert Mike had to go back home having some appointments next day, and so I was the one and only to wish Hayley Godspeed for her journey home. The next day I made my way back via Yeovil Junction, Waterloo and Heathrow missing the match and was only informed by the flight captain about the result. So as already said, it wasn’t my fault. Many thanks as usually to Hayley and Tim, needless to say, as well as to the orchestra, Tim Pitman and Paul Salvage for their great performances, not to forget the friendly staff of the venue and in particular Mr Duddridge. It was a wonderful start into the new ‘Hayley season’ in Europe this year and hopefully I’ll be able to attend a few more concerts in 2010. Best wishes, Karsten

Thanks for the report and the excellent pictures Karsten. Well up to your usual very high standard. Is it just me, or is Hayley really looking more and more gorgeous as she gets older?
Actually Karsten, I do have a video of Hayley singing "Land of Hope and Glory" but I have never made it available on the Internet (and I won't), mostly because her microphone was switched off, and my voice was louder than hers! There was also the spectacle of my wife Sue rushing the stage and handing Hayley a flag to wave. I'm sure those who were there remember it.

She looks so elegant in the one at the top, here: img28.imageshack.us/img28/5806/a3272.jpgI can't tell whether hair is actually tied, or she just has it tucked on one side with nothing holding it in place. Either way, it's gorgeous. Thanks again for the photos!
