my impression: Mr. L. seemed to be surprised that a girl with an EQ* of a 14 year old girl sings the experience-of-life-wisdom of a 40 year old woman ... * emotional intelligence quotient

Kevin, a partial-german friend of mine, did translate the "coffee-or-tee-TV-video" for me: Mr. Laufenberg was delighted about Hayley's Voice and physical appearance, and he foretelled her a great future the next 10 years "WENN man sie die RICHTIGEN Lieder singen laesst" (if the record-companys let her sing the right, appropriate songs !!! With Hayley does ANY record company have a choice? After the Wuthering Heights I think Decca will be very wary of arguing with her. Which is why it is all the more important we help her to get the choice right for her next international CD. Peter

Hi Peter, Well, let's put it this way. The record companies lie to think they have a choice. But Hayley got it SO right with 'Wuthering Heights' that they might not argue so much in future. Roger
