Click here to buy Winter Magic/Christmas Magic!Hi everyone, We now know that Winter Magic (Christmas Magic) has limited availability, even in NZ and the UK. I think some people, forum guests and possibly even some members may be dissuaded from buying it, or may leave it longer than usual before buying it. For example, I haven't yet bought it myself - because nowhere near me is selling it! So, why don't we have a list of where it can be bought in each Country? That's why I have started this thread and if members will post details for their own Country of the main places it can be bought in that Country, I will update the list that I am now about to start in the next post. There are three categories for each Country: 1. Major chain stores where the CD can be bought in-store at all or most branches 2. Major online stores serving each Country (just the main ones) 3. Download stores for each Country - just the main few. I'm going to start it off in my next post for the UK, I'll unlock this thread when I've posted it... and I plan to insert a prominent link to it at the top of the forum and, if it works, on the front page of the HWI website. Please include a direct link to the actual album at any online sellers you list... and obviously, which Country (please stick to your own!)

AustraliaJB Hi FiAll the JB Hi Fi stores that I have visited stock at least 2 Christmas Magic CDs. They also have one of the best Classical music ranges I have seen. The CD can also be ordered online from their website here: www.jbhifionline.com.au/music/classical/christmas-magic/467506SBS Online ShopSBS appears to be the main distributor of Christmas Magic in Australia. You can purchase the CD off its website here. JB Hi Fi is one of SBS's retail partners which is why they are stocking Christmas Magic. www.sbs.com.au/shop/product/category/Music/2762/Christmas-MagicSanitySanity music's website lists Christmas Magic as being 'in stock' and available to order. However, they do not appear to have the disc available to buy in store. www.sanity.com.au/ProductDetail.aspx?id=267581Personally, I believe that if you are thinking of purchasing this album, you should buy it from either JB Hi Fi or SBS -- reward them for supporting Classical artists when other stores won't.

Thanks Jillian and Nordly! I assume that few if any US high street stores can be relied on to stock this album? Oh, I think someone said "Borders" so I'll add them for the moment, correct me if I'm wrong. Keep 'em coming, folks! Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave and everybody.
I believe all the Borders stores here in London are closing down, now the company has gone into administration.

Hi Everyone, BestBuy in the US sells the CD online and indicates that CD availability is limited in their stores. An online check of the local BestBuy locations indicates that it is not available in any of the six locations nearby. Borders has it available online and lists it's availability in the seven nearest stores as "likely in store". I will try to get to the closest one at lunch time today. I may just have to buy another one. Bill

Hello Everyone, Well, I went to the local Borders store and could not find "Winter Magic". The Holiday Music display had an empty spot so I hope that is where WM was located and they are sold out. It has been a while since I have been to the CD section at Borders. It is probably one-fourth the size it was at my previous visit. Maybe I'll try another location tomorrow. Bill

Good morning all Kiwis, I hope it's a beautiful day in Kiwiland! New Zealand is conspicious by its absence in the "Where To Buy" table so far, does anyone there wish to provide a couple each of 1. High Street stores, 2. online sellers and 3. download sites where Winter Magic can be found? Also, Canada? A couple of 1. local online sellers (with links) and 2. download sources (if no high street stores have it)? Thank you and 'good evening' from deepest darkest and ccccold and wet Southern England... brrrrr!!!! Dave

Hi Dave & everyone, I have found this one:- www.thewarehouse.co.nz/red/catalog/music/new-zealand/Christmas-Magic---Hayley-Westenra?SKU=1362741At the moment the website is undergoing maintenance. However, there may be other outlets that I haven't checked yet. Currently Hayley is at #22 after two weeks on the chart ( as of last Sunday ) It appears to be doing reasonably well considering the LACK OF ANY promotional activity at all Which is a shame, I haven't heard any advertising at all on either radio or TV There was a nice interview with Mike Hoskins this morning live from London.Hopefully Dave this should be on their website at some stage. Listen here: www.newstalkzb.co.nz/thisweek/hourrecs/Thu,%20Dec%203%2008.00%20trn-newstalk-zb-akl.asf cheers, Rodders

Thanks Rodders, I'll add the warehouse as mail order, also iTunes for downloads.
Does anyone know of any NZ high street chains in Chistchurch, Auckland or anywhere that will be stocking it?
Dave
