We plan to leave Leicester for Buxton after church. Don't know ow long it will take, I'll have to do some research, to see if I can find a better route than the A6. I think that way it would take perhaps a couple of hours, so we'll probably arrive some time after 3pm. Martin D Hi Martin Last time I went to Buxton on Hayley's 21st birthday it tokl me about 20 hours. So don't worry about travel time. Larry

Well, according to the AA, Leicester to Buxton should take about an hour and a half!
They suggest going to Derby via M1 and A52, then on via Ashbourne. I think last time we used the M1, A50 and A515 to Ashbourne avoiding Derby altogether, but the AA says that is 5 miles further and takes 3 minutes longer. Well, it's a Sunday so Derby might be the best option.

Hello everyone As promised, here is the article from our local paper "The Derby Evening Telegraph" - it contains a couple of interesting comments, but I would take them with a pinch of salt knowing the papers penchant for errors! It's not called "The Belly Laugh" for nothing LOL! Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the scan, Grant! The article is also available online HERE. There's nothing particularly earth-shattering, so I won't post it on our new website. Best wishes, Richard

Hi all, I hope to get there at 6 pm but I have noticed I`m 13th on the list!!. The main car park does appear to be free after 6pm for anyone counting the pennies.
Stephen.

Of course we have no idea what Hayley will be singing at this one. I sort of hope for something new, like something from the Battle of Britain tour, which would be very topical, or even the new album, but I think with Raven travelling around, rehersal time mitigates against it. As Time goes by would be fabulous, and she could sing that with just a piano backing, but somehow I doubt it. But you never know.
But having heard Hayley recently, I know that fabulous voice has never sounded so good.
I just know this will be awesome.

So much for the "non-themed" album Hayley spoke of at one time. But she might've been referring to the album after this one. When she said that, she probably didn't know she was going to get to work with Ennio yet. Unless the article is just making that up for themselves. Another thing: Hayley - a pin-up?
