Hmmm, I'm thinking i might come to this one too I'll just have to make it into a long weekend, and take a tent It will be a long drive from basingstoke, so if anyone would like a lift for part of the petrol money, you are welcome Anyone else fancy camping Edit: I'm sitting on google maps, trying to find the best route while avoiding motorways (my car isn't motorway friendly) i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hmmm, I'm thinking i might come to this one too Anyone else fancy camping Well, we will be motorcaravanning. There is a Club site a couple of miles out of Buxton. We stayed there last time Hayley was there, a concert that has achieved legendary status, since it was just before Hayley's 21st birthday, and we had a bit of a party with her. Something I will never forget as long as I live. Of course it always snows when I go to Buxton, and often when I go to Hayley's concerts so this was no surprise. Martin D

Hi Andy,
The picture you took is still the only one I have of me and Sue with Hayley. That night is one I will never forget, and I am really happy that you will be there for this one. This is going to be a very special show, I feel it in my bones. Let's hope we get another chance to spend some time with our princess like last time.

Hi Mark and Martin Nice to here from you both,we're really looking forward to this concert and meeting up again, the last time we were together was Stoke.Buxton that night was truly magical wasn't it, a great turn out from the HWI'ers. We very often go to Buxton for a day out and every time we see the Opera House it takes me back to that special night. Even when I see your avatar picture Martin of you and Sue( I hope Sue is well ) it reminds me i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. I will be willing to take another for you mate!. Roll on August ...... Cheers Mark and Martin Andy

Hi Andy,
I might hold you to that mate if we get the chance - I have a much better camera now! I am looking forward to it immensely. And yes, Sue is fine thanks, although she has had a hip replacement since the last time.
I'll bet young Bethany has really grown since we last saw her. Hopefully she still loves Hayley though.
See ya

So far, i haven't managed to find anyone to come with me, so it looks like i'll be traveling on my own Martin, where are you camping (or rather caravaning) for the concert? - Do you have any details for the campsite? - Will i need to book? Just though I'd make the effort to prepare

Just though I'd make the effort to prepare Hi James, Sorry I'm slow in replying, we've been away camping.. er caravanning. Not sure how we are doing this one yet. We might not bother staying the night locally, we could do there and back in a day from Leicester, and we wouldn't need a day off work, although it would be a late night. Especially if we hang around to say hello to Hayley after the show. But last time we used the Caravan Club site at Grin Low, which is 2 miles (walking distance) from the Opera House. That site does admit non CC members and tent campers though (we are members). Last time we walked in, but got a taxi back. Like every Hayley concert I have been to, I can remember it in vivid detail.
