Whoa leading by 13. I think there's a tiny bug that allows you to vote again after someone has voted after you. I think the multiple IP detection only reads the previous vote placed.

Either way, the chart is updated, and Hayley tops it by 555 points (I have a point system). She is leading by a large amount.

Come on guys, I don't know who's doing it, but 1000 votes in 24 hours is verging on ridiculous. I know there's a loop hole and I know how it's done but do try to keep it clean. It just looks silly. :/

Okay, you're still doing it. I'll just reset the number back to where it was before whoever it was started and if it continues, I'll just get rid of the whole thing altogehter. I know other fan bases have cheated a little, the odd 50 votes a week - but 1000? Ruining it for everyone else and most of all for me.

In light of the excessive cheating, people now have to be logged in to vote. Something I seriously did not want to do, as most visitors do not log in when looking at my site, so now nobody can even see the ratings. I'm really disappointed, but I guess that it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Sad to hear what is going on. I'm sure there are ways and means of cheating, but I'd rather it didn't happen. I will admit to voting more than once on some days, but never anything like that.

It's okay Martin - it was bound to happen sooner or later. We are currently trying to implement a much better system (where you can see the exact average rating too) x

Okay, new situation is this:

Okay, we have our final system in place. We have a much better ratings system where you see the average vote, and it's impossible to do alternate voting now (before, you could vote as soon as somebody else voted after you, so if two people got together, they could just keep rating 5 furiously and it would go up as Hayley's did).

Good news is, non-members can now see the ratings. Bad news is, there is no way round the fact that the database needs to identify members by log ins as it wouldn't be able to cope with memorising all of the IP addresses, so you do have to log in, and it's back to one vote a day. I never wanted to force anyone to sign up, because there's nothing to gain by it (except for posting on the forum, and who cares about that?)

We are currently trying to get Hayley's votes back down. If we can't, we have to reset the whole thing, because it would be impossible for any artist to catch up with her under the new system. I'm sorry that the fun was spoiled.

P.S. If it makes you guys feel any better, I had only just noticed that Rhydian's fanbase had done the same, he mysteriously had 600 more votes since I checked this morning!
