Hello folks! I've started this thread to separate the discussion about this concert from the 2009/2010 General Thread. This thread effectively starts HERE, but I'm not going to attempt to move all those posts. Richard

I'll quote these two important posts from the other thread: Sandy, Mel, Jono, David and Ross, With the concert at Black Barn being on Fiona's Facebook page and mentioned in Hayley's chat with Nicola it would seem fairly certain. I think it may be worth one or two of you emailing the venue to ask when the tickets go on sale. You could then inform other interested members. Regards Jim Hi Jim,
It's interesting you mention this, because I've already done that! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif (emailed them last night)
And, here's the response I got:
Great news! Was hoping they would be on sale soon!
JonoI just received another email telling me that:
Oh and before I give someone a heart attack...the tickets aren't up yet...the email was to tell me where the tickets will be sold! Richard

I am very pleased for all our members in Australia and New Zealand who are planning to go to this concert - particularly those of you who have yet to see Hayley perform live. It's constantly stated in the various threads here that seeing Hayley for the first time is an amazing experience but, until you've experience it for yourselves, it's difficult to explain why it has such an effect and why most of us never get over it. I can fully understand some of you adding a touch of luxury to the experience and I urge you all to get together before the concert; enjoy each other's company and have a meal or a picnic together. The "Hayley experience" is even better when shared with like minded people. I'm really looking forward to all the reviews and pictures from this concert and the chatter as the excitement builds for you all. One last thing, Hayley is going to be over the moon seeing so many of "her guys" at Black Barn supporting her and I'm sure she'll show it in some way!. Best wishes Grant (ever so slightly envious! )

Hi Grant
I also am thrilled that the faithful Australian and New Zealand fans will be able to experience the magic of a live Hayley concert. You can read about her concerts all day but nothing compares to seeing her live and hopefully meeting her and experiencing the thrill of talking with her. See you in December Grant.
Larry

Thanks for your kind thoughts Grant & Larry. Incidentally the email confirming Jan 22nd as the date has arrived. Nothing like 'out of the horses mouth'. Whether Marianne & I will be booking is not quite clear yet but we'd certainly love to enjoy Hayley with you all....it's been 2 years since we last were with her.....sighhhh !! Graeme

hamilton/ havelock nth... dep 11am, arr4.30.
nah, 5 hours in a bus doesnt interest me... let alone the time.
its soo frustrating waiting for tickets to be on sale... im hoping jono's email was a throwaway comment from someone who doesnt know whether they are or not... and i can just get that bit of paper.

OGW, graeme, i wasnt implying i wasnt going... just that the bus trip doesnt interest me... we have a perfectly nice plane service over here, even if i do have to fly to wellington/auckland first. it'll only take a couple of hours, though.
ive done all my plans, now i just have to ["wait patiently for the venue to release the tickets"] put it all into action.

They seem very cheap per km & well utilised. Graeme

Hi Graeme, To the best of my knowledge Graeme the answer is “No” there is a bit of a price war going on especially on the main trunk services.Auckland;Wellington;Christchurchhttps://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifunedin, together with feeder services to other places e.g Napier/Hastings,Nelson,Blenheim etc. With jet-star,Air NZ, Virgin Blue all offering grab a seat type deals so yes they are good buying at the moment. This also applies to trans-Tasman fares too, so if your thinking about coming over check out the specials the airlines are offering. cheers, Rodders
