The HWI Caption Contest! [/center][/b]
If the first one is successful, we are hoping to make it a permanent event on here. The idea is very simple. Every member is invited to submit a caption for each or any of the three photos shown below.
Rules
-- 3 photos
-- 1 caption per photo
-- The idea of the captions is provide an entertaining voice to the subjects of the photo or a humorous insight into what might be happening. It doesn't need to be a single line, it could even be a short conversation. So get creative!
-- Members have a week in which to post their captions and the closing date is 30 September.
-- For ease of viewing, it is requested that small version of the relevant image is placed above each caption. Simply copy the url under the large image and insert it into img tags in your post. The end result looking something like this:
For Example:
Hayley: Oh look, Jonathan, HWI are having a caption contest!
-- After a week or so the HWI staff will pick a short list and set up a Poll - members can then vote and choose the winner.
-- If this contest is successful, we will hold more competitions from time to time.
