Hello everyone Latest tweets from Hayley about 25 minutes ago Our Hayley had obviously worked up quite an appetite at this afternoon's rehearsal as she tweeted about her dinner first I guess it's fairly safe to assume that she is now sitting comfortably with a delicious Thai meal in front of her (Can't believe she's never ordered takeaway by phone before ) Best wishes Grant

Hello everyone, Less than 24 hours to go! UK viewers don't forget the Festival of Remembrance 2009 will be shown on BBC1 TV and BBC HD TV starting at 9:15 pm on Saturday. The broadcast is scheduled to last for 1 hour 35 minutes. Highlights of the earlier afternoon performance will be aired on BBC Radio 2 between 8pm and 9pm on the same evening. This may (or may not) be available to listeners outside the UK via the BBC website. Fingers crossed that Hayley isn't scheduled to appear in the first 15 minutes because the X-Factor on ITV doesn't finish until 9:30 and the audience will be much smaller before then. PVR, DVD recorder and PC satellite card at the ready! Cheers, Dave

Can't wait. I've told everyone in sight about this. Most didn't know, including one of the people who I introduced to Hayley's music at Beaumanor, and will certainly watch now that I have told her.
I even told my boss, but he it seems is fixed on the premiere of some film or other. I told him that I would rather listen to good music than watch any film ever made. And music doesn't get much better than Hayley. But then, I'm wierd.

Hello everyone, I have a great quote for you, copied from a report about the battle for the no. 1 Christmas single in the UK but the quote, from the Aberdeen Press & Journal online, is about Festival of Remembrance: who will also be backed by the Fron Male Voice Choir. Read more: www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1471192?UserKey=#ixzz0W87pnlY2
I think Hayley will be over the moon about that description of singer-songwriter. I haven't seen Hayley described like that before and I think it's great! Dave

Hi Dave,
Glad you are geared up to record this event as at present I am in Invercargill at the bottom of New Zealand and will be on a trip to Stewart Island tomorrow at 10.15am when the TV broadcast starts in the UK.

Hi Dave & everyone
Thanks for finding and posting that quote Dave - I am sure Hayley would be delighted to read that about herself - rather than the usual term the press who know nothing much about Hayley use 'Classical Singer'. Sopprano - Yes, singer songwriter - Yes. Absolutely fantastic.
I cant wait to see her on tonights programme.
Regards Mark

Hi Stephen,
I think it was inevitable that Faryl would get more press attention than Hayley in some quarters, as she currently has a higher profile (reality TV and all that). Faryl is also singing the phenomenally popular classic "The Prayer" which in itself will attract many comments and a lot more YouTube views than Hayley's song.
Few of the media reports have bothered to list all tonight's performers, the only name common to all of them has been Faryl. But her presence will increase the TV audience, some of whom will I am sure not be familiar with Hayley. They will I think have a pleasant surprise (though her song isn't as popular as Faryl's, especially among younger people).
Cheers, Dave

I'm really looking forward to seeing the footage of this! If Hayley was excited enough to get straight on twitter and tell us that, it must have been an excellent performance!
