Hello folks! This video has been posted on YouTube by TOG Hellen Bach, so it should be OK to post it on the forum: All You Need Is Love: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBsXOKvi3SsRichard This is great, good turnout of Irish in the lineup too. Imelda May is from just down the road, near me in Dublin.. She's Somethin' else altogether.. great rockabilly singer. Did anyone else notice how tall Hayley is in this, relative to the other girls in the group.. ?

Hi Martin But, Paul, Hayley is being photographed with TOG's all the time! Have you never looked at our pre/post concert photos? Don't you mean HOG's? (Hayley's Old Geezers) Best wishes Grant

A friend of mine was listening to Terry Wogan on Radio 2 this morning and the CIN Auction 'for things money can't buy'. One of the auctions was for Aled Jones and Sharon Corr to sing privately for whoever won. At 8.45 the bid was at £7000 but then Terry interviewed Aled who said he had managed to get Hayley interested, as she was a good friend of his. Within 15 minutes, the bidding had gone up to £14,000 then ended on £32,000. The winning bid was from 'Anon from Dumfrieshire'!!! That just goes to show what influence Hayley can have!!! Congratulations to the winner. (I'm not really jealous ). Martin ps Do we have any members in Dumfrieshire?

Hi Martin, Sue told me about this when I got home from my trip to the Isle of Man tonight. If I had driven to work at the normal time, I might even have heard it. But I was on a plane at the time... Sue also saw her on the Alan Titchmash show, which I also missed of course. Dave, you are a hero. I'm now going trawling on the BBC website to see if I can find Aled's converstaion. I've been trying to get Hayley metioned on Terry's show for years, but it took her old friend Aled to do it! Martin

That's great news -- I'm sure that Hayley will be very pleased to know that her involvement has raised so much money! Lol She's also probably wondering if she should hire her services out for parties for a few $$ on the side!

From Classical X forum www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00nw2k2Link to mention of Hayley there at 1 hour 12 minutes in. Aled said that he managed to convince Hayley to join in by buying her a drink.

Hi Martin (thanks for the heads-up!) Martin and Jillian (thanks for the link!), I've recorded the auction from just before Hayley was first mentioned until the auction ended... and cut out all the unrelated material (music, traffic, news). So you can listen to it in 20 compact minutes, starting with Aled Jones' interview. It's not all about Hayley, there are several other "items" being auctioned as well but I think Aled, Sharon & Hayley had the biggest bid. Children in Need Radio Auction for Aled, Sharon & Hayley (Terry Wogan, 20m, 11MB, mp3). What a great idea and wow, £32,000!!! As today was the first day of the auction, and it beat last year's total for the first day, I assume that the amounts raised tend to increase as the week goes on. And... I wonder if we know the winner? Dave
