Be fair, Martin - Katherine didn't have AGT as a launch pad. XD

Be fair, Martin - Katherine didn't have AGT as a launch pad. XD Yes Nic. I think Jackies' celebrity will eclipse Katherine's over the years. Especially with David Foster in her corner. Tireman

David Foster is just her producer - and just her producer for this album as far as we know. He doesn't do all the albums of an artist - they and he move on. And there's only so much he can do anyway. He can put them on his PBS specials and compilations but he's no PR or manager. Considering how much promotion she's done, I don't think she's selling that well. They've really tried hard to sell this album but it's been no Susan Boyle type sensation as they were expecting. Susan Boyle didn't even need to promote her album.

I've never understood this Susan Boyle hysteria. She is a good singer for sure, but Jackie is an exceptional singer. Am I missing something?

Martin & Nicola You stated you never could understand the Susan Boyle hysteria. I can explain it with just one name. Oprah Winfrey, I doubt unless you are in the United States you could understand how much power she held, in selling anything, She maybe even got our president elected. She also help Jackie get her OHN sold with just one show. Susan was a favorite of Oprah and when Oprah told her followers to buy Susan's CD's they bought 1,850,000 cds of "The Gift" . Not sure what UK's excuse is for buying the other 600,000. If Oprah was around to sell Jackie's new DWM CD it would have taken off faster than all the other promotions put together, and I don't even like Oprah but understand her selling power she had in the US.

Jackie has one huge advantage over just about all the other cc singers and that is everybody likes the home team and Jackie is about the only CC artist we know of that is American, We have a population of 307 million for one girl to cover. I think this may be one of the reason Simon Cowell snatched her up. Simon does know how to make money and he is much more interested in their marketability than singing ability even. Heck he first got started in the USA by having Pro-Wrestler's singing and make records kind of like CC on steroids.

Hi Rickky and welcome.
It was her appearance on Britain's Got Talent that did it forSusam I'm sure. I can still remember that sickening faked expression of surprise and delight on Simon Cowell's face. You could see the pound signs in his eyes!

Martin D How does Simon do it when ever I see him he's got dollar signs in his eyes. I wish that Disney would have picked Jackie up instead of Simon, To me Jackie has Disney written all over her. One of Disney's shows called Hannah Montana has one of their singers playing the role of a school girl and she is just to old to play the part.

Hello Rickky, Just wanted to welcome you to the forum! Dare I say that Jackie is one of the most popular American female CC artists ever. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI see that this week, Jackie' 'Dream With Me' is at #4 on the Billboard album chart with total sales of 77,000 . Best wishes, Joe

Cowell has TV talent shows in his pocket, and so can get lots of exposure for Jackie, so that she becomes a household name if she isn't already. The price is here today, gone tomorrow (I hope I'm wrong about Jackie in that respect). Hayley never had that sort of exposure, and so she has to watch vastly inferior singers gain more success than she does. It seems so unjust. Martin D

Jackie has started a mini-tour. The first was a benefit concert in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she had some difficulty breathing due to the elevation. Her next concert will be in Atlanta, where I will be attending. She is expected to sing ten songs like she did in her first concert. From Atlanta, she will move on to Ravinia, near Chicago.

Hmm... May I ask what are the tracks in the special edition of Dream With Me? I have a friend in Washington D.C: who's buying me the album, I told him to buy it through Jackie's official website, since they say they offer a download of an exclusive recording of Danny Boy with trumpeter Chris Botti... What do you think? Should I tell him to look for the special edition instead? In what stores it can be bought?
