I wish that a DVD would be made of this concert!! To those who have the programme, what does it look like? Here's a few larger photos taken by the Rex Features photographers who were present.

I have some photos too that I might post when I get time, but I need to convert and upload them, and have another early morning tomorrow - I'm off to Gatwick. Tomorrow evening I might get chance.
I did get some videos and have played them through. I had to hold the camera vertically in order to get it to focus properly in the gap between the two people in front of me. This is not a good idea. I found and downloaded some software that will rotate videos, and it worked, although the result is much smaller on the screen. And the quality of the pictures is not good - it is our old friend the lighting again.
But the quality of the performances - WOW!!!! It still shines through! This reminded me again of what a very special show this was. One I will never forget for sure. And Grant you are right, musically it was fabulous, without doubt the best not just by Hayley, but by any singer that I have ever seen. There are only eight shows on this tour. That's ridiculous, it is absolutely fabulous, and if you don't get to one you will regret it for ever believe me.
For me these vids are a reminder of what is almost certainly the finest concert by a singer that I have ever been to in over 40 years of concertgoing. Hayley was simply awesome. If the rest of the shows are as good, she will blow you away. I was even thinking about whether I could get to another one myself, but I suspect Bath might be mush the same show and we have tickets for that. And anyway, I have run out of holiday. Perhaps I should have retired when I had the chance.

As Grant correctly predicted I wasn't able to make this concert due to moving (how did you find out by the way...or did I tell you?!). I was at Cambridge so it was the perfect venue but I had to leave university due to illness and other problems. The train fare from Yorkshire was too much unfortunately I was really upset that I was going to miss the concert so didn't come on here for a while but the reviews and photos are great so thanks to those who took the time to produce them! Maybe it was through ebay you saw it grant now I come to think of it...

(Amateur Video) Some people use the word amateur in a derogatory fashion, I consider it the best possible reason to do something. For the love of it. Wiki Quote below : An amateur is generally considered a person attached to a particular pursuit, study, or science, without formal training or pay. An amateur receives little or irregular income from their activities, and differs from a professional who makes a living from the pursuit and typically has some formal training and certifications in the domain. Translated from its French origin to the English "lover", the term "amateur" reflects a voluntary motivation to work as a result of personal interest in the activity.

Thanks for all the great photos and reviews of the concert. It must have been incredible to hear Hayley and the choir without amplification in this beautiful setting. I am so envious.
Thanks again.

Oh, so it is the dress she wore to Japan. I guess that's why I was imagining a dress of that color. Also because they seem to fit the Winter Magic theme more than any other colors would have. White is for winter, and silver is for the magic. The black part on the red dress looks like the lacy one she wore with the Festival of Remembrance dress, with the original belt over the top of it. Interesting. I have to admit I was imagining her wearing fancier dresses than that, something more like her green and "coral" gowns, but at least it's Christmas colored. So, are there any photos of her with the sleigh bells? I'd like to see that.

Hi Libby,
I have a video of part of that performance. It is lovely, even if the picture ad sound quality are not good. But not yet.

The cathedral is beautiful, it looks golden in that light. The picture is fine!
