Hi Jillian, Yes there is - I saw your public message (reply) to Hayley. Strangely enough on twitter the best way to find something said directed at someone or in reply to them (e.g. @hayleywestenra) is to use the search function (on the right hand side). To find out what everyone is publicly saying to Hayley you search for "HayleyWestenra" and it all comes up with the results in descending time/date order - these results would include what Hayley has said also. Also you can search "Hayley Westenra" (with a space) to see what people are generally tweeting about her. (This is the search on the right hand side). EDIT: Jillian, sorry I didn't read your question properly. No if someone replies to you we wont be able to see it on your page. But when you go to your home page you will be able to see it there as a recent tweet. The distinction there is that your home page shows the recent posts that the people you follow have tweeted, and your profile page shows what you have tweeted. The search function I mentioned is still the best way of seeing what everyone is saying to Hayley and what she is saying back. Jono Richard - Thanks so much to you for being the genius who originally set up the account. You had the right intentions for the site from the start! Also thanks for your excellent twitter skills! EDIT - and I also forgot to mention that it is AWESOME that Hayley has already tweeted!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Well I have got my cell phone activated for twitter so if Hayley comes to NZ I will be able to give live comments on twitter which is what I think Twitter is best used for.

Me too! At the next NZ concert that we both attend the people that are following us will probably see similar tweets coming from our phones! BTW, you can also set it up so you receive tweets and Direct Messages (by SMS) from only one account (or more). I might set that up in future for Hayley's account, provided she doesn't tweet too much It costs me 20c for anything sent and received from Twitter.

Isn't it great to see Hayley's twitter account. I hope she keeps twittering. I often wonder what she's up to. Is anyone as excited about it as I am?

In the past there would be long periods where there would be little info on what she was doing. This is great!! Bill

This is SO weird...a while ago (I can't find it now) there was something on here about Twitter and lots of people said how they hated Twitter and would never go on it and lots of stuff like that.....funny to me!

Well, I joined twitter yesterday, but I'm still not sure wht this gives me that is of any more use than just visiting Hayley's page.
Maybe the penny will drop sometime!

This is great, but I'm worried she'll give up her facebook now, because of it. I wouldn't like that. You can't write very long messages on Twitter. I guess a short update every few days, or every week, or something, would make up for that a little, but still...

Hi Martin, You can reply to Hayley's messages by clicking the arrow you get when you put your cursor over her post. The posts appear on your page, but I think that Hayley can see the posts that refer to her account. I'm very new to twitter too! But it mightn't be a bad idea to make some replies, just so Hayley realises we notice her new presence on Twitter. I think someone in the know needs to give everyone here a Twitter Tutorial! :rollin

When you are on your home page, click home, and then click @(your username) which is on the right hand side (e.g. for you it would be something like Jillian), and that will show up every message that has been sent @ you. This is what Hayley would do when she's experienced on twitter too, so I agree that we should all send as many public tweets as possible. Don't spam with private messages though! I think someone in the know needs to give everyone here a Twitter Tutorial! I think the best people for that would be Richard, Bob, Dean or me (as we've all used twitter quite a bit). If you guys have any questions ask them here. I would be happy to make up a tutorial, but I'll have to do that a bit later! Jono

Well, I didn't have much interest in Twitter until I realised a couple of my favourite singers had accounts! I think this Twitter account will have a lot of possibilities for Hayley -- a great way to keep momentum even when she's between tours/concerts -- which for Hayley is an extremely small gap indeed, but still!
