Please note this news is a few hours old and must be confirmed by Hayley's management. Hayley is listed to perform at the Alban Arena, St Albans, Hertfordshire on 24th October at 7.30 PM. Hayley will be accompanied by her Musical Director, Tim Evans and the wonderful String Quartet, Raven. This a rare and uplifting opportunity to see and hear one of the world's finest contemporary classical singers. Early booking recommended to avoid disappointment www.alban-arena.co.uk/events/418/hayley-westenra-in-concert.htmlBook your tickets at www.ticketline.co.uk/venue/st-albans-alban-arenaOr ring the venue on 01727 844 488

Their description of her as "sensation popular" is odd. Do they mean she's popular for making sensations, or did they intend to say she is "sensationally popular"? Or they couldn't decide whether to say she was sensational or popular, so they left both? And why does she get certain band members on the RoD tour, but then for some reason they she can't have them because the tour anymore? It doesn't seem fair that she can't keep the band she had for the tour, they seemed pretty good (not that I was there, but I've seen videos).

I could be wrong but this seams like nice time for a concert tour for Hayley's new international album.
This autumn does seem a little quiet for concerts or rumours/unconfirmed reports of concerts

St Albans (Verulamium) is well worth a visit if you haven't been before. It is a Cathedral city and market town established by the Romans on Watling Street which was the main road north from London (before the M1 ). Don't be put off by the City label as it is quite small. The Alban Arena is a modest size (capacity 850) but ideal for a Hayley concert. Martin

Hello folks! I've just returned from St. Albans where I booked seat A13 for this concert. There is a Wetherspoon's pub called the Waterend Barn right next to the Arena, so I suggest we meet there from 4:00pm. More information: www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/pubs/pub-details.php?PubNumber=5152There is a good train service from Luton Airport Parkway and London St. Pancras to St. Albans, and there is a frequent shuttle bus link from Luton Airport to Luton Airport Parkway Station. It takes about ten minutes to walk from St. Albans Station to the Arena. The last train back to London on Saturday night departs at 00:18, so there's no need to rush away after the show. More information about connections from Luton Airport: www.london-luton.co.uk/en/content/2/193/by-rail.htmlSee you there, Richard

Thanks Richard for the more detailed information.
I think this concert will be the one for me, before going to Dublin. Possibly a cousin is coming with me . I will wait for confirmation.
