I had big trouble in getting home from St Albans when I went to see Matt(ex G4) at the Cathredral
Best way home was from St Albans Abbey stationto get me to Watford then it be bus ride
Got to station at 10pm to find missed the last train
Knightcame to rescue in shape of marian:) who took Jaqui back to Watford station and me home

Hi All,
I took a trip up to St Albans this morning and booked seat A11.
Afterwards I looked around the city and had lunch in another Wetherspoons pub called The Cross Keys which was a little farther away from the venue.
Thanks Joe for getting the ball rolling on this one.

Wow! A gig in St Albans! She couldn't get any closer to me, really! I go to St Albans for regular shopping trips, job interviews, university (used to) and visiting family.
St Albans is the place to be in Hertfordshire. Beautiful city, and deep in history.

As I haven't had too many oppertunities to see Hayley this year and as this concert is on a Saturday I have highlighted this one as one to go to, though I won't be able to book until the end of August so I hope there will be some good seats left!

Hi everyone,
This concert at St Albans sounds perfect for me - it's a Saturday and not too far from St Pancras where I arrive from Paris.
I need to have a look at accommodations first but will most definitely try to come (along with my little sister who has yet to see Hayley performing live!).
Is the concert venue close to the train station?

Hello Stephany! It's about a ten minute walk from St. Albans station to the Arena, which is easy to find in the city centre. There is a Wetherspoon's pub called the Waterend Barn right next to the Arena, so we'll be meeting there for refreshments from about 4:00pm on the day. St Albans is a nice old town with a couple of small hotels/B & Bs in walking distance of the venue or a couple of chain hotels within a couple of miles.
Interestingly, your employer has an office about 2 minutes away from the Alban Arena!
