New Live Hayley Chat

Hi folks

I was really looking forward to chatting live with you all, but when I tried logging on, literally all there was on the screen was a blank black screen on the left with a smaller box to the right saying 'Your Roomies' and 'Options'. I registered a username and a password, but this did nothing.

Any suggestions?

Hey Ben,

We saw you enter the chat room several times but you weren't responding to our messages. We assumed you were having problems. No one else reported any issues today, so maybe you should try another browser next time? Although you did make it into the end of the chat so did you manage to fix it?

Oh and thanks to everyone who attended the chat session today, was a very interesting discussion about almost everything you can think of! It lasted for a LONG time (8 hours for those who were there the whole time), got a bit slow a few times, but overall was a success!

EDIT: Actually there were 3 left in the chatroom when I departed, so maybe it went longer!

Many thanks for hosting the chat. Although I was only there a short time on this occasion, it was great to see that the HWI tradition of the monthly Friday chat is still alive and well, all be it in a different form. For the last 3 years, I have very much enjoyed chatting to other members and I am looking forward to being able to spend a little more time with you next month.

The 3 left were Libby, 'enthusiatic2005' and myself. As soon as you left the conversation dried up quite quickly (within half an hour!)

Thanks again for the chat! I look forward to September 11th - hopefully I will be settled into my uni accommodation by that time!

Hi Everyone,

I agree, it was a good one. Thoroughly enjoyed it. What else (apart from work) would keep me sitting at a computer for over 3 hours and even take the computer to bed with me? Thnks to eveyone who was there, and to Matt for hosting it. See you all next month!

Hi Jono,me o'l mate I think you have made a bit of a boo boo regarding times between NZ and the UK.The above times you mention won't work here's why:-
3PM NZ time is 4AM UK time i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I would imagine a lot of our friends will be doing this :zz or should be :wink: Unless they are still getting home from a Hayley concert via an all-night pub somewhere i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif and if that is the case, then a lot will be wearing these to keep out the strong sunlight out of the eyeballs after a night out

The best time would be Sat Morning NZ say 8am that would make it evening time in the UK. 8am NZ 9pm UK the previous evening being friday, the end of the working week for some people (but not me) but I will be available sat morning.

Just one other point to consider, this month we put our clocks forward Sun 27th and the equation will look like this:-

8.AM NZ 7.PM UK after the UK put their clocks back for their winter season.

Sorry for the confusion here, the 3pm I mentioned is not NZ time, it is the time of the website HayleyOnline, which is owned by Matt (located in Arkansas, USA).

Your recommendation is actually the time it will be going ahead, 8am on Saturday 12th in NZ, 9pm on Friday 11th in UK.
