That's unfortunate. It would be nice for those who don't normally get to chat, to get to chat. I don't get many Sats. off, but then I probably don't get any more Fris. than Sats., so it's really not much different for me. However, I would suggest if we are planning to continue chats, to make the start time clear, so everyone who wants to join can. I mean, you can literally log in to the chat any day, any time, but of course, people are only there on the days of scheduled chats. |

The chat is tomorrow night from 8pm UK time. It will be on Saturdays for the rest of 2015, after which it will be reviewed.
I had not been there today Libby. But when I did login, it told me you had just logged out....
Something weird to do with the site I think. I had not logged into the chat since last month.

Oh, I forgot to notice the date. I noticed the time, maybe it was actually from last month. Well, I likely will not be able to chat the rest of the year. I do work most weekends, but now that I think about it, I tend to get Fridays off more than I do Saturdays. Though often-times the Fri. I am off, it's not the chat day. Probably the same thing will happen next time I get Saturday off.  |

Not that I can participate this time around (and I don't get to often), but the past few times I've tried to visit Hayley Online, I get a message saying Server not found. Did Matt get rid of it, or something? I wanted to look up some lyrics. It'll be very, very sad if all the lyrics were to disappear. That's the most useful page on the site! |

I'm not aware that anything happened but I get the same problem. HOL still seems quite active on Facebook though. But I agree, the lyrics were a very good resource. I thought they had come from you Libby, don't you have a copy somewhere? Also, quite a lot of the lyrics are available elsewhere on the web, thry Googling.

No, Google is the whole reason we need the lyrics page. Have you ever read the Never Saw Blue lyrics on one of those ad-infested websites?? They're ridiculously wrong. LOL Instead of "a month ago I was alone", it'll say "among the gold I was alone". And, although I'm not the one to start the lyrics page, I am the only reason the lyrics page is accurate!  Because if not for me, Never Saw Blue would be incorrect there, too! Not to mention Danny Boy, since those lyrics are different wherever you look. What Hayley sings on her album and what CW sang are 2 different things, although Hayley changed it to the CW lyrics in concert after her stint with them. It's only a small difference, but different, nonetheless. And, where are you going to find the Japanese lyrics by searching on google? I suppose by now you might find them, but I didn't bother trying. I did the lyrcis for HSJS2, Winter Magic, and Paradiso. I think I did songs from Prayer, too, like I'm Kissing You, Tonight, etc.; ones that don't appear on any other Hayley album. I also added the names of the writers and composers on all of the pages, as well as putting the name of the album(s) each song appears on at the top. So, yeah, much of it is my contribution, but Matt is the one who started it. And, as I mentioned, I helped correct some of it. LOL And I do have the lyrics, but only because I have the Japanese versions of those albums! So, anyone who has those albums could contribute if need be. I don't remember how to work the site anymore. Oh, and besides that, where else are you going to find a more thorough discography page? Definitely not on her website, and not even Amazon! No, we're not going to give up on Hayley Online because of Google or Amazon. Besides, it would be nice to have the option of chatting when I do have the opportunity. At least when there's more Hayley news to discuss, like when her album finally comes out, there'll be lots to chat about. |

Yes, I agree, all the lyrics were in one place, and as you say correct, or at least more so than anywhere else. I still have doubts about some of them, but those are the best attempts I know. If you still have them Libby, those that you did are I think the most important ones. What we really need to do is transfer it to somewhere a bit more reliable, like HWI. Most of the others, like I'm Kissing You and Tonight should be available elsewhere, since other singers have performed them. I think I know most of Hayley's lyrics off by heart anyway, and if decide to do something on HWI, I will help where I can.

Well, I'd have to re-type them, but I'm a fast typer, and have a fair amount of free time when I'm off work. But, let's see if we can figure out getting the site back up first. Might have to contact Matt.
