Hey Bill, Eww! I'm a recent convert to seafood so I think that's a bit extreme for me. I do eat squid now though! In "normal" dishes' lol. That's cool that she studied in Spain. I met a Spanish girl last night who is in her last year of Medicine over there. Shes traveling here over her summer break, and at the moment is staying at my friends place. Really friendly easy going person. Anyway thanks for sharing the family photos! You should share some music samples if they have any! Cheers Jono

Hello folks! I couldn't eat that squid. I'd give it a fountain pen and ask for its autograph! I used to have a pet chicken called Ink. It kept running out of the pen! Richard

SUBJECT: Squid cooked in it's own ink So . . . let me make sure that I understand. If I were to open a restaurant in your neighborhood, this would NOT be something you would be interested in seeing on the Menu? Bill

Hi Martin Is it Richmond? Regards Colin Yes, spot on Colin. We had a very nice week around that area. Martin Martin I've just watched an episode of Wainwright Walks - Coast to Coast, on the BBC iPlayer. It started off in Richmond, and had an almost identical scene like your third image. It also showed the waterfalls. Looks like a nice place. I could have impressed you all had I got the answer a day or two earlier!

Hello Irish Hayley Fan and everybody! The programme is available to UK viewers until next Tuesday HERE. I once had an outstanding vet's bill for £6. I gave him a poorly octopus and said, "Here's the sick squid I owe you!" Richard

An Octopus normally has eight arms except in the film Octopussy in which it only had 007! Martin ps Richard - if you think yours were bad?

Well I'll post another picture of Richmond, although I got an email today from Photobucket telling me I am running out of bandwidth and asking for money.. Must be all those videos, perhaps I'll have to put them on YouTube or something. This one could almost be on the Loire or Dordogne. Quite surprising to find it in North Youkshire! Martin

That looks like Glendalough in County Wicklow, Ireland.

I just can't get over how green it is... The sight of rolling green hills for someone who lives in Australia is something very special indeed! I want to go to the UK just so I can look at the grass! I remember when my parents came back from Ireland, the first thing they said was, "You wouldn't believe how green it is!' Unfortunately, this seems to be more the general colour of things here: I don't suppose that some of you could indulge me and post some more of these amazing, green and lush photos of places where it actually rains? I love photos like these! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hey, I thought Comet or Paddy would be the ones to give it away. They took me there while I was visiting. Hey Jillian, Some green that I could grab quickly. I punched up the green in photoshop just for you

We even have rain in Summer here - like today! You're welcome to it - anytime! Ha, ha -- we all say we want rain, but then when it actually happens everyone freaks out! It actually rained quite heavily about 3 months ago and there was a disaster in our house because we realised we only had one umbrella between the three of us! I'd imagine that something like that would never happen in Ireland! You'd be armed to the teeth against the rain, I suppose. This is why I can't wait to eventually travel. It's the small things that make different parts of the world so interesting.

The trouble with Irish rain is that it forgets to tell us when it's coming! Especially in Summer. And sometimes it likes us so much that it insists on staying with us for a while. I'm all for sharing but there's a limit ... when it comes to rain! With three under the one umbrella - everyone gets wet! Often we can't even spend Summer on the beach - and you can enjoy Christmas there. So we're really green - with envy.
