Even the Irish members are unlikely to identify this place: Any clues, Paddy?

Nobody still living will recognise this one - it's an Irish Summer!

I'm pretty sure that Cathedral is in Belfast. Not sure of its name though.
Are the two photos of the wood/river, clues to the same place?

I was there on 29th June 2008 - a very important occasion (another clue ). The other pictures are all of different parts of the country - from East to South to West to North (the Cathedral). Just to let people know that Ireland is nice too. Paddy

[ I'm all for sharing but there's a limit ... when it comes to rain! With three under the one umbrella - everyone gets wet! . Hi Paddy, I'm sure you know all about English rain too! You were at Beaumanor after all! I even had my own umbrella there, but couldn't use it as it would have blocked the view of those sitting behind me. So we just got wet! And would not have chosen to be anywhere else on earth at that time. Martin

Hi Comet, That's what early retirement does to someone! It's a bit like being a College student all over again. Well almost! This time I don't think I know everything! Yes! You're right. One of the photos is in Yeats Country in Sligo - a hazel wood near a holy well (Tobernalt). The Cathedral is in Belfast (as IrishHayleyFan recognised) ... St. Peter's Cathedral, Belfast. Hey Bee ... maybe. But I prefer Hey-ley - SOUNDS much better. Maybe the birds will take me away yet! Paddy

Spain, December 2008. When we arrived in Salamanca in mid-December, our Daughter's host family told us that, while it does get cold in Salamanca, it never snows. It snowed every day for three days straight. It made for some interesting sights. This is the "New" Cathedral. Construction on the new Cathedral began in 1513 and the residence are still discussing whether the "new" one is better than the "old" one. This is also outside the New Cathedral: One of the University of Salamanca buildings. Bill

We took a trip to Bethel, New York, to see the fields where the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival took place 40 years ago. The area is wonderfully developed with the newly-built Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, comprising of two outdoor venues and gardens A large museum opened last year. Also there are weekend harvest festivals in September and October. The fields themselves remain relatively untouched. One has free access to walk the natural bowl-shaped hill.
