Ben - being a total sucker for Taylor, I picked up the Fearless Platinum Edition despite already having the basic album. But then with all the extras, it was worth it...
Jillian - I agree that Taylor has amazing dress sense. I often think that she has to be an old soul in a young body, as most 19 year olds just don't have that degree of poise or elegance. That said, she's lucky with her body shape, which must make it easier.

Hi Elliot, I agree. But also having an unlimitless budget helps! I understand that she also has a stylist who helps her pick out things and plan her outfits -- but so does every other big name star, so Taylor must be doing something right!  |

I agree - she certainly seems to present herself extremely well for a 19 year old, from her fashion to her posture, which is one of great confidence!
I am intrigued to know what guitar she is playing in that picture Jillian - it looks like a custom build, judging by the sound hole design and her name on the fret board.
I'm still quite new to her music, after having listened to a few video's on youtube, but has she ever done a UK tour, and/or is she ever planning on doing one? I'm quite intrigued to see her in concert!

Ben... She's done a few concerts in Britain, yes. I'm not sure she has anything scheduled for next year, but she's bound to return sooner or later, probably for a major tour as she seems to be catching on pretty well over here, now. I know she's played London (Though I'm not she's played the really massive venues over here, yet) and I think Glasgow. But it's the odd date here and there, so far. She really likes British accents, which will probably help |

Paddy Hi Paddy The 24th looked incredibly tempting, but I suddenly realised that I'm off to see Rodrigo Y Gabriela on the 24th as well! Thats just my luck! The London gig is a bit out of my way. I've been to a couple of guitar concerts in London recently, as well as around the West Midlands area and at the uni. This has diminished my bank account a little, so I'm trying to save what I have left!  Elliot - Taylor has certainly made a name for herself here in the UK - quite a few of my friends have her albums and have strongly advised me to buy her latest album! I'm becoming more of a fan of the country/pop genre, which Taylor fits nicely into! Cheers, Ben |

Hi folks I have just bought Taylor's 'Fearless' platinum edition, and I have to say that I am blown away by it! She has an amazing voice, and such a gift for writing songs! Being the platinum edition, it also contains an extra CD of tour photo's, video's etc and I love how she is so down to earth when answering the interview questions. She is lovely to all the fans who walked up to her and had flyers signed. Remind us of anyone?  I love how all her songs are from the heart and how she can draw from personal experience to help write them. If anyone hasn't heard of her yet I would strongly recommend her latest album! With most artists, you need the greatest hits albums to get that many good songs on one album. Taylor only ever seems to write greatest hits. I'm sure she must have written bad songs at some time, but I've never heard them. Welcome to the Taylor fan club! Third studio album appears to be in the works, BTW... |

She was writing songs when she was 6, so we can't judge how good those songs are - writing songs at that age is amazing! I got her Fearless CD too, not the platinum edition though. Taylor is great. I started to really like her after I saw the making of, of her music video 'Love Story'. Meeting her in person does comes with lots of rules though. I've read a story of a Dutch 15 year old who got to meet her when she visited a concert of Taylor in UK. The girl made a scrapbook with all these pictures and little stories from some members of a Dutch Taylor Swift fan club. Taylor was impressed and the girl got to personally meet her before the concert. But there were these dumb rules like - only one autograph and only one picture. Taylor was so nice to give her two autographs anyway though. Has anyone heard the song 'Half of My Heart' from John Mayer featuring Taylor yet? It's a nice song! Worth listening to. Sharon |
