Hi Dave Many thanks for the latest weather report. So, with Japan being 8 hours ahead of the UK, the typhoon will hit sometime during the afternoon local time. Hopefully Hayley will already be where she needs to be by then and be in a nice warm, safe studio somewhere i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
No, it will go ashore near Nagoya before 8 am Thursday, local time, passing West of Tokyo sometime later in the day.
Cheers, Dave
PS and off topic a small tropical storm named "Grace" formed early yesterday West of Portugal, the furthest NE ever to form in the Atlantic. Looked exactly like a mini-hurricane on satellite images. It crossed England earlier today, by then mixed up with a cold front but helping to make it windy and very wet in some places.

Cheers, Dave Humphh! Seems like I shortened Hayley's day by a few hours! These senior moments are becoming far too frequent! According to timeanddate.com, it's raining heavily at Tokyo airport at the moment but tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be sunny! Bit windy tomorrow though! Best wishes Grant

Hi guys. My office is closed today due to the typhoon "Melor" hitting our area. It has gone causing some problems at my location near Nagoya. It is hitting Nagano and Niigata Japan now. Tokyo is a bit east from the path and things are mostly OK except the heavy rain and some occasional gusty wind. I am afraid to inform you that according to Japanese Hayley's fan site, she becomes sick. I have no idea to know the detail nor I have no way to confirm this. I hope her condition is not serious. Maya.

Hi Maya,
Which website is this? Hopefully it is just a cold from the wild weather.

Hi Maya and everyone I am afraid to inform you that according to Japanese Hayley's fan site, she becomes sick. I have no idea to know the detail nor I have no way to confirm this. I hope her condition is not serious.Maya. Sorry to hear this. I'm guessing that she had to cancel todays activities, hence the report on the Japanese fan site. Hopefully we'll hear more soon and that it is nothing serious. Best wishes Grant

I'm really glad that Raven was able to go to Japan with Hayley. They really compliment Hayley well and they are extremely talented girls.
