Hi Jillian & David, Thanks for the pics. More from me yet to come re the H.A.R.S. museum & Wollongong & one more of David. Just a bit of Melbourne & Sydney happenings: "Wicked" is still playing in Melbourne's Regent Theatre until September. Marianne & I went down to Melbourne to see it in March. It was utterly fantastic. It's starting in Sydney in September at Capitol Theatre & we've just booked to see it again. I don't know if its going to Brisbane Jillian but if it does (& you've not seen it) then we very highly recommend it. hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Othermusic&action=display&thread=4609&page=1#89574Graeme

Hi David.
Glad you are having a good time in Oz, where I want to go (after NZ, if I ever get there!).
Your photos are a good addition to the thread. Most interesting.

Hi Joe. Australia has plenty of snakes. One of the pythons is actually called the Children's Python as it's such an ideal pet for children. These engines power both the Constellation & the Neptune in slightly varying forms. Shown here as cutaway assemblies: Notice David engrossed in some intricacy in the background. One of the exhaust gas turbochargers can be seen painted green. motor Only some of the 18 cylinder heads are shown. Details: Fuel injected, twin row 18 cylinder turbo compound supercharged radial engine Curtiss-Wright R3350-93A Displacement 55 ltr 3350 cu in Maximum Power • 115/145Octane Fuel (Not Available) 2535 kW 3400 hp • 100/130 Low Lead Fuel 2148 kW 2880 hp Cruise Power (Typical at 200 Knots) 1080 kW 1450 hp Each engine has 3 exhaust power recovery turbines delivering 112 kW / 150 hp each (at take off) Graeme
