Finally got chance to post. Last night was another wonderful night. The only regret being that Mum wasn't feeling well enough for the 2 hour journey to Bath. It was a great show from Hayley and all the supporting acts. Although Hayley had a cold she was sounding superb. Had met up with many members of the forum before the show and then joined the gang after the show while we waited to see if Hayley would be able to spare us some time before they had to travel. It was great to see her when she came out, she was her usual charming self and still made plenty of time for chat, posing for pics and signing CDs, programmes etc It was a good way to finish my live Hayley shows for the year and I look forward to seeing her again in 2010.

Hello Keith,
Glad you enjoyed last night's performance! Hope your mother is feeling better.
Cheers Martin for your photos! Hayley's sweet smile would warm the coldest of evenings!

It's interesting to see the different expressions on the choir members' faces on page 7 in particular. One younger lady in front looks sort of grumpy, but I think the light's probably shining in her eyes. The older lady to her left seems to really enjoy it. One of the men in the back is closing his eyes, as Ben might do. Everyboy else is pretty serious-looking.

Hello Libby! I feel slightly sorry for the choir. Sitting behind Hayley they wouldn't have been able to watch her captivating facial expressions while she was singing. That is always a highlight of Hayley's performance for me. Richard

Hi everyone Many thanks for all the reports and photos so far. It was indeed a wonderful evenings entertainment, just like two years ago and I guess Hayley must have enjoyed herself the first time around, as the compare, Grenville Jones, asked her to return this year and she did The choirs and the youth group were all supurb. Hayley was very well received by the extremely warm audience, who were brought to their feet after the final song 'Oh Holy Night', in which Hayley sounded absolutely awesome along with the backing of the large choir, otherwise known as 'The Bath Chorus'. Although a little tired, Hayley was in a very relaxed mood when she met up with our small gathering, consisting almost exclusively of HWI ers. After asking us how we all were and us congratulating Hayley on a wonderful performance, as often happens, there was a brief moment when everyone goes quiet i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. Knowing that Hayley didnt want to be too long, I decided to start proceedings and said to Hayley "shall we get started then ?" , stepping forward to get my ticket signed . I think/hope that she appreciated I did this to help speed things along and didnt think I was trying to take over . Anyway, I seem to recall it got a brief chuckle from the rest of the group Whilst Hayley was busy signing, Gianmarco came across to chat to me. What a nice guy he is and once again, I feel Hayley is lucky to have such a great support network around her. I was asking him if he knew if he would be with Hayley for next years events - he wasn't sure at the moment but said that he hopes he is. It seemed that most of us got to say a few words to Hayley. I was able to give her a message from Belinda that she was really looking forward to the concert in NZ in january and Hayley commented that she would look out for her and it would be lovely to see her again. I also managed to remove any element of surprise from the Christmas gift that I had brought Hayley, when I told her what it was Well, its a long time since I (or indeed anyone else from HWI) had brought her any of her favourite chocolates, so I told her I thought she might like some for Christmas as a special treat!! I also told Hayley that unfortunately I couldn't make it to the Barbican and so this concert would be my last for this year. With that, I wished Hayley and her family a Happy Christmas and she was on her way. Once again, many thanks to all my HWI friends, old & new, for your company again during the afternoon & evening. It also made a nice change to share the long drive home with some company, so thanks Ben - so glad you got home safely. Well, for me, thats it for me for another year - looking forward to 2010 now! Best wishes Mark.

Thanks to all the photographers for their amazing photos! There are some very striking ones from this concert! Thanks also for the great reports! The best thing about HWI is how the recounts and photos of members preserve these events which would otherwise be lost as fleeting moments in time. Thanks! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hmm... I mayy be influenced by knowing that she is ill... and it also may be the light... but, actually, in Martin's pics, Hayley actually seems ill to me, specially in the eyes, that are somewhat brighter like someone who has got fever.

I shouldn't read too much into that Michal. I did some doctoring on her eyes on some of those pictures to reduce the redeye effect, and it might be that that you are seeing. Martin
