Yeah, that lady to her left looks kind of grumpy the whole time.

I would say the dress is navy blue with blue flowers. I thought cobalt was a little brighter than that. This is almost black.

Well, I've dug out a few more too. At the start of the show, they projected an image for a while to reming is of what it was we had come to see. After all, some of us might have forgotten... And here is a lovely guy I met or the irst time believe it or not... And of couse Hayley's second instrument, apart from the piano the only one she has ever platyeed in a stage performance as far as I know. It sat there for the whole concert, and it wasn't until the encore that she picked it up. The glass of water, she picked up several times though. This is one of Hayley's lovely habits that those who know and love her treasure, I don't think many other singers drink on stage!!! Martin D

Here is the first of my videos from this concert. Corpus Christ Carol is a very old and very strange song. As I post this YouTube has not quie finished processing it. So you might have to wait a few minutes before you can see it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDDVlyyFpP8Sory about the Camera Shake at the start. Martin D

So, we are back here again, a Winter Magic concert in all but name. And I have uploaded the next in my seies of videos. Yes, I know that Ben had already uploaded a vid of the same performance, but I thought it was worth doing another one because I have Hayley's introduction, and a better position to see Hayley at the piano. Yes, you guessed it. It is "River". Another stunning peformance from Hayley. It took over an hour to upload, even after I had converted it to mpg, so I hope you all think it was worthwhile. As always, you guys get it first! www.youtube.com/watch?v=POaFRKL8N64Martin D

She is a bit rushed in some places, in River. I think she's playing it faster, that's why, and I didn't like it as much as the album. She can do better than that, so why doesn't she?

Hi Libby The reason why you might think that this was a 'sub-par' performance' was because Hayley was starting to get a cold, which thus led to her cancelling the Norwich concert. When we greeted her when she arrived at the Forum, she did look a bit 'under the weather', and was anxious to get inside. I still think its a lovely performance though! Cheers, Ben

You know, something has always puzzled me. Tradition has it that Jesus was born in the early evening time, yet we celebrate his birth on Christmas morning. So, was he really supposed to be born on Christmas Day, or on Chrismas Eve? (OK, I know it was really not at this time of year, but lest's not spoil a good celebration). The reason for this speculation is I actually have two vidoes of songs Hayley sang at Bath about the night that Christ was born. So if I upload one on Christmas Even and the other on Christmas Day, I will have covered both possibilities. So here is the first odf them, Hayley's own composition which she once told us seemed strange, composing what is effectively a Christmas Carol in the middle of summer. I had a bit of a struggle with this one, since I usually convert to mpeg (YouTube preferred format) before uploading. This also reduces upload time. But for this one, it took four attempts at encoding before I was happy with the sound quality. Like Dave, I tend to try to normalise the sound volume, since I find the result sounds better. But this one seemed to take a lot of fiddling about, perhaps becuse the volume of Hayley's voice has a lot of variation in this song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJCb-jtvmWcSo here it is. Peace Shall Come. I hope you enjoy it. By the way, it is interesting to look at the expressions on the faces of the members o the choir (Bath Chorus) sitting behind Hayley. They look mesmerised, one guy even had a finger stuck up his nose!! Martin D

Another Wonderful clip MartinD. It's Christmas Day today & I'm watching Hayley sing about 'The King' having written the words herself. Thrills me to pieces !!! They say he's here this night They say there shines a star above Tonight
They say to follow the light They say its gonna be bright Tonight...........
And heave'ns angels sing Gifts of gold we bring For our new King And peace shall come to everyone
He lays in manger tight They say his birth will make things right Tonight...................
And heaven's angels sing Gifts of gold we bring For our new King Peace shall come Gifts of gold we bring For our new King And peace shall come Peace shall come to everyone.....
