I've finally got round to booking this one. Sue and I have seats E29 and E30, 3 rows back and fairly central. Looks good. Hi Martin, I too look forward to seeing you there. Dean

Hi Guys, Just to let you know Stuart and I have booked F31 and F32 in the stalls. We are bringing wife's for a weekend break but they are not coming to the concert with us. Last time we went to the venue to see Hayley we had front row seats in the dress circle. Something to look forward to before Christmas See you all there - Cameras at the ready! Steve H

Hi Steve,
You will be very close to us and just behind and I look forward to meeting you both. We are not too tall, so we won't block your view.

Steve H Hi Steve Looking forward to seeing you both there. I'm also bringing Karen & Sophie, who will be going to the concert - but most likely won't wait around afterwards to see Hayley. Still, as we are staying overnight, they will just go back to the hotel before me. It should be a really good night Best wishes Mark

That looks uncommonly like one of Grant's pictures but on second thoughts I don't think it is. But whoever took it must have been standing pretty close to you Grant.
We booked our hotel for this one (Friday and Saturday nights) yesterday. It has free wifi, so you might even get an early report from me.

Hi everyone
Is anyone interested in 2 tickets for this show in row G ? I originally booked for my wife Karen & daughter Sophie, but since then, Sophie's M.E has become worse and it doesnt look like she would be able to make the trip and stay overnight - too exhausting for her at this stage.
If anyone is interested and you dont mind sitting by me, please send me a PM.
Best wishes
Mark

Hi Mark
Very sorry to hear that Sophie is not going to be able to make Hayley's concert in Bath. I hope you manage to find deserving recipients for your spare tickets.
Best wishes Grant

Hi folks
I was wondering if someone could offer some help/advice on travel arrangements for this concert.
Getting to Bath is fine, as there are trains leaving every 10 minutes. I have to change over at Bristol, but thats fine.
Getting back is the problem - there is a train leaving at 11, 11.30, 12.00 from Bath Spa in the evening, but they all terminate at Bristol, and the next train doesn't leave from there until 9 in the morning on Sunday!
Any advice would be great!!
Cheers folks! Ben

Hi Ben
The simple answer is that trains rarely run late on Saturday nights or start early on Sunday mornings. Your best bet may be to look for a late night National Express service from Bristol (or maybe even Bath) to Birmingham.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes Grant

Best wishes Grant Hi Grant Thanks for the advice, but I simply can't find any trains that are going to Birmingham from either Bath or Bristol that go through the night. All the late night trains from Bath terminate at Bristol, but there are no trains departing from Bristol back to Birmingham until 9.15 the next morning! I would really like to go to this concert, but due to this travel difficulty, its unfortunately looking likely that I won't be able to... My other option I suppose is to stay overnight in Bath and get the early morning train, but there is only so much a student can afford... Cheers for the help, Ben

All the late night trains from Bath terminate at Bristol, but there are no trains departing from Bristol back to Birmingham until 9.15 the next morning! I think you misunderstood my post as that's what I said. "National Express" is a coach service. I've checked and it can be done 0345am from Bath via Heathrow (90 minute connection) arrive Birmingham 0950am. It is a marginal improvement on 9 hours on Bristol Temple Meads station but...... As for staying overnight, Bath is a tourist hotspot and the liklihood of getting anything reasonably priced at this stage is remote. Also most places do weekend rates Saturday and Sunday so won't book room for just one night. Your best bet is to find someone with a car, treat them to the concert ticket providing they drive! Best wishes Grant

I'd feel really bad asking for a lift all the way back to Birmingham! I'll have to make sure my MP3 player is fully charged! Thanks for all your help Cheers, Ben
