Thanks Libby. I have now added "Postponed" to the individual thread titles. I would not remove "May" because those threads are still about the events that had been scheduled for that month whether they were postoned or not.
Thanks for your support, Belinda. I hope for your sake that the rescheduled dates are available soon.

Hi Libby, I don't think it matters if Mays there , over here in a local publication it was still advertising the concert as happening the following week I wish. As Roger has said they have done all that is needed . And people should read closer if they are getting confused. I can't wait till it says August/September though Belinda Wish it said 'February/March 2010'! might make that. Peter S.

Hi Peter, Going by the usual pattern the dates you said would be the usual, These concerts that didn't happened were going to be a great early chance to see Hayley, Now i guess it will be instead of the usual ones we have every 2 years. Hope i'm wrong and we get them too i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWell one can dream Belinda

I guess it's better to wait till we know for sure when the new dates will be before you change the thread title.

This post has been moved from the River of Dreams Tour General Thread. As I was in Wales when the ROD tour was postponed and hearing that Jonathan Ansell will be touring with Hayley in N Z in Sept., I was wondering if the May schedule will be replicated in Sept. Anyone have any comments on this?

I am very sorry to announce a further delay to the much anticipated New Zealand tour. I don't know the exact reason but it is something to do with the promoter being unavailable. The tour is now expected to take place in February 2010, following Hayley's Christmas break. I will relay any other information when it is received but that may not be for some time yet.

and we were just going to wait there and sit out the recession The cost of living seems to be much lower there, maybe I should earn it here and spend it there Hope to spend much more time in New Zealand the next time I go there !

Hi Roger, I don't think I'll be able to make the Feb trip as we go South for the winter in Jan. It's puzzling to me that the promoters in Hayley's home country can't seem to get it together. Well I guess I'll just have to wait till Dec to see Hayley again. I hope they add Limerick to the Ireland schedule so it's worth my while to travel 4000 miles through four airports. Be Well Larry

Roger It seems, then that I am indeed destined for NZ. That is the sort of date I think I can make! Peter S.

Thanks Roger, Feb 2010 sounds "fine" by us. The financial crisis will have had more time to fade away too. Graeme

I wonder if by Feb 2010, it won't be a River of Dreams tour -- but more likely the launch of Hayley's next album? I hope so. I do often wonder if Hayley's isn't sick to death of her current repetoir -- she does so many concerts on basically the same selection of songs.

Hi Jillian, Well I hope it will be for a new album. If not she could do some of her other songs like O Mia Babbina Caro, I Dreamed A Dream, Summer Fly,etc. I suppose you folks down under are getting tired of these concerts being postponed. I know I am. I was going in May then in Sept. Now since they've moved to Feb I can't make it. But I really think it is time for a new album.

Hi Peter, Well Peter if I could persuade my wife to leave her dog with my son I would bring her along for the winter. However she will not leave her "baby" with anyone but me. Hence we take separate trips. But we have many friends in Texas so we load the dog and the cat into our motor coach and head to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. I'm still puzzled as to why the promoters in her home country can't get it together.

Hi Graeme, Only old soldiers fade away--recessions like this one go on for years. But I just hope they can schedule another concert for Hayley down under before I go to that big concert in the sky. I'll be 71 by Feb 2010 and I can't make that concert tour. I may have to come down for the next one in a wheel chair.
