Dave, I haven't seen the New World, so I can't really comment.
However, I have done some research...
I've just endured 30 minutes of torture, watching a horrendous episode of the "comedy" show, Horne & Corden.
If this show is anything to go by, I won't even bother watching these two again in LVK.
So, I guess I won't be the one writing a review of this movie!

Grant,
I don't think I could bring myself to watch this. If Hayley didn't know, then she has been duped. By endorsing it with my patronage, I would be encouraging more of the same, and effectively rewarding those who duped her. I'm sure she is now embarrassed, if not mortified about this, and I would not want to add my support to those who have taken advantage of her innocence.
But obviously, what you do is your own decision. Just my two penn'orth.
Martin

Hi Roger, Roger I really appreciate the great job you're doing. Thank you for responding promptly to my query. I agree that we shouldn't do anything to jeopardize our relationship with Bedlam. We are fortunate to being brought into the loop as far as we are.
Thanks a lot
Larry

I'll probably buy the soundtrack CD, just so Hayley gets the royalties she deserves. I don't want to see the film. Richard

Hello everyone My copy of the soundtrack arrived this morning and I've just finished listening to it. As a music score it is fantastic and certainly good enough for any blockbuster movie. I particularly like the change of mood between the dramatic sequences and the gentler ones like "You're a Virgin?" and "Jimmy I Love You". Hayley appears regularly, in fact it's Hayley that you hear first in the opening track "Centuries Ago ..." Unfortunately, it seems to loose all credibility with the final track so a word of advice - don't play it! Some quotes from the CD booklet:- and Scans of the booklet will errr! will not follow Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, Thanks for the report, at least the music is good and will stand on it's own merit long after this storm has blown over.. But it has been highly amusing to watch this discussion develop, This IS what makes this forum GREAT, such diverse opinion and different cultural and religious backgrounds. Where did you order the album from ?

I have just seen a 30 minute documentary about the film on the Sky channel, Film 24. No mention of soundtracks of course ! There was a running interview with the two stars, excerpts from the film, shots of the filming and interviews with some of the Vampires and the Slayer. It was interesting they kept referring to it as a low budget movie and the set was nowhere near big enough If anyone in the U.K. wants to see the above it is scheduled for a repeat at 21-00. tonight on Sky channel 157.....Film 24. Grant..... you can get a taste for it You probably will decide to save your money Best Wishes, Graham

What has been missed in all this is that while Hayley 'did not at that time know' we are again assuming what her reaction will be. Once again we are tying ourselves up with our views and MAKING ASSUMPTIONS at what Hayley's response will be!

May I suggest that I offered perfectly plausible explanations for this situation in an earlier post. These things happen and accepting that principle we all ought to hold our peace until further factual information comes our way.

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI got my CD today and apart from the stupid song titles the music is very good and not offensive at all. Even the last song by Showaddywaddy is of a 50s type pop music. You can hear Hayley throughout the CD but does no singing just one type of vocals.
