Mods, I'm not sure where to put this, but feel free to move it... I'm wondering if there is any way to get sheet music for Cosmos. I could listen to it a billion times and figure it out, but I'd rather not if I don't have to...please advise. Thanks. |

Hi Melody I could not find sheet music anywhere either! You may want to search for the song's composer Masashi Sada . Also, a group called "The Jade" recorded "Cosmos" on their "Letter" album. Best wishes, Joe |

Love this abum. But has anyone else noticed that very many tracks seem to be about "mother" or "mama?" lol I feel like the subject of mothers is mentioned somewhere in every song

Yes, in the sleeve notes she dedicates it to her mum. In her own words
"I would like to dedicate this album to my inspirational Mother. I love you. Hayley xxx"

I don't think we've ever heard whether the mother theme was actually Hayley's idea or not.. if I had to guess, I would say the Japanese producers suggested it. Obviously Hayley would dedicate it to her mum, whether it was all her idea or not. I don't think it was, though, but there's no way to know unless someone asks her.

Who knows! But this was clearly a theme that Hayley could relate to at the time. She alwaus said when she was young that her lack if life experience limited the things she could write songs about. That is I suspect less so now.
