She must be Martin - we usually pick up a few snippets of information - an interview here - a song there - of what Hayley's doing. This time? zilch!! nada!! As she will still be in NZ next Friday we can assume that she will be going straight to Japan for her first concert on 30th Oct. Martin Hi Martin Typical, isn't it? Thanks for finding the pictures, Stephany! It's nice to see that she attended the Music Award Show and it seems she had a lot of fun.  When being nominated and being in NZ while the show is held I think it's more or less a must to attend. Especially when it's enjoyable like that Award Show.  Thomas |

Hi Martin - very true. This red dress is magnificent! It's also what I like about Hayley - she doesn't try to be a fashion victim by wearing the latest Chanel dress or whatever. We would say in French that she is always at the 'summun of elegance' (top elegance!) with her own clothes and I really respect that. Thomas, I agree with you, it makes perfect sense that Hayley attended this ceremony. She couldn't miss it - especially because she was one of the nominated. A shame that she didn't get to perform though  Stephany |

Hi everybody! There's a video on TV New Zealand called 'Hundreds turn out for music awards' where the journalist is on the red carpet waiting for the stars to arrive at the Music Awards. The journalist says a few things about Hayley - eg saying that she confirmed her 'surprise' attendance only during the morning. You can watch the video here. Stephany |

Hi Graeme, I watched all the videos, reviews and interviews about the Music Awards but unfortunately Hayley is featured in none of them which is a bit disappointing. The few red dress pics I posted above are the only 'proof' that she attended the ceremony. The funny thing is that they all refer to Hollie Smith, The Mint Chicks and Evermore as 'the young generation' beating out favourites like Hayley and co. Our favourite star is younger than them in terms of age but she is now categorized as an established artist. She's no longer the 'teenage singing-star' which is a good thing in my opinion. Stephany |

What on earth? No wonder we didn't see pics of Hayley in her red dress at the Vodafone Music Awards. The Kiwi press mistakenly thought the girl on the picture above was Hayley. Looks as though they completely miss the one and only Hayley Westenra. Grrrrr!!
