This is excellent news, Richard! Thanks for the information. I suppose Hayley won't be in New Zealand for the ceremony but it would be great to see her efforts recognized with an award. Here is an interesting quote published in 'One News': he says.
Good point, Mr Smith! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt's a shame she isn't nominated for the 'Best Classical Album', though. Thanks for this info, Stephany ! I would have also thought Hayley should be in the "Best Classical Album" category. But fingers crossed for Hayley as "Best Female Solo Artist" Joe

Hi everybody! We were wondering if Hayley would be back in New Zealand for two weeks between Anzac Ceremony on October 4th and the National Gallery workshop in London at the end of the month. What if she was returning to attend the NZ Music Awards? It's on the 18th of October. Stephany

That sounds quite logical Stephany and might be what Dave was teasing us about in an earlier post. Put in an appearance at a strategic event in New Zealand's music calender AND spend a bit of time with family and friends. Sounds like a plan to me! We have our fingers crossed for you Hayley!!Best wishes Grant

Good morning Grant,
Now, if she's going, she will probably sing at least one song during the ceremony. I'm very curious as to what she would pick in such an occasion. Last time she attended the NZ awards she backed another group with her (beautiful) vocals. Her range of music is so wide that choosing a single song must really be a daunting task. 'Pokarekare Ana' and 'Hine e Hine' are too well-known in her homecountry so it's going to be interesting to see what Hayley thinks is best to showcase her wonderful talents to her Kiwi fellows.
Lots of love, Stephany
