Hi all! This is great news... I'm glad we'll get to see some of Hayley's writing work. I know from her blogs and newsletters that her writing style is wonderful! Hopefully this one will be more widely available than the first, because I'd love to read it. The cover is brilliant -- all "grown up" and sophisticated, but still with that gorgeous smile! Oksy

I can't believe she's had the time to do this!! She's is the most multi-tasked person i know!!!! Dori It's like Hayley is juggling 25 pins at one time! So far, she hasn't dropped any! And if she were to drop one, it would be scooped up so fast that no one would notice!

It's fascinating that a book about Hayley could be published at only age 20. I don't know that I would consider it a biography, because she is still so young. But the book will probably tell a lot about her influences and what this individual has accomplished in just a few short years. The publishing itself is perhaps also indicative of the desire and demand for information by the readers. The book would not be published if there were not a high level of interest. I think that this strong demand for knowledge about Hayley is fueled by the type of person and inspiration that she is. Everyone simply loves the young lady with the beautiful voice. A perhaps inadvertent question raised there, Gene? Are you not aware of The World At Her Feet the first biography published by Penguin when she was 15! In Her Own Voice is Volume 2! BUT, harping back to my opening, I certainly (anyone esle?) assumed this would be Volume 2 carrying on from where The World At Her Feet ended. But not necessarily so. The World At Her Feet was a biography. In Her Own Voice could cover the same ground but 'in her own words' and entirely from her perspective, then carry on to now. 'Volume 2' need not necessarily carry on from where The World At Her Feet ended. Peter S. Thanks for the information and clarification, Peter. As I said in an earlier post, I am always learning new things in this forum. This is how I judge if my time has been spent well......by what I learn. No, I had not recalled that the initial book was published when Hayley was only 17. Quite amazing. I have not as yet read the work. I live next to the township public library and visit frequently. I enjoy reading bios/autobios, and am accustomed to these works telling the story of one's complete life....from birth to passing or near-passing. But I can certainly agree with you and others that these works do indeed come in sequential volumes. There are many auto/bios out there, such as those on the Clintons, that recant the lives of subjects up to present day. I would also agree with you in that "In Her Own Words" will more than likely be written from Hayley's view, how she perhaps perceived people and events to age 20, and as the title would seem to suggest, written based on her interpretations and phrasings. This should certainly bring her a large number of new fans. I am certainly looking forward to reading this particular volume of her life. But for now, I'm heading over to the library next door to see if they have "The World at Her Feet"! Best, Gene.

I'm so happy to learn about a new book about Hayley's life. I really enjoyed Hayley's other book and will enjoy this new one as well. For those of us in the USA, we probably will have to order from Amazon UK. I wrote Amazon USA but they have no information about the new book. If anyone has another source, please let me know. Personally, I want to support Hayley and will preorder on Amazon UK. However, should the book be offered on the American site, I can always cancel and order here at home. Klassical

Hi all,
I am very much looking forward to reading Hayley's own words. Judging from reading her newsletters and colorfully written blogs, as Oksana said, this book is a must read!

Hello Joe and everybody! We've heard that Hayley has been spending several hours a day working on the new book, so there should be a lot more of her own words in this one. I really like her style, so I can't wait! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard
