Not to be cheeky here, but how can it be "in her own voice" if it was, in fact, ghost-written?

Hi Steve, It seems clear to me. Hayley told the tale - in her own voice; Darren Henley wrote down what Hayley said. No doubt he also did a lot of his own research, asked Hayley questions and created the manuscript, I accept that. It's also a play on words for 'singing in her own voice'. What else? Cheers, Dave

Hayley told the tale - in her own voice; Hi Steve and Dave Hayley told us at Telford that "she had spent hours on the 'phone talking to Darren" and that her voice was suffering because of it. Best wishes Grant

I saw this article in the Christchurch Press today and so after work I went to two malls before I found a copy in the Paper plus store in the Shirley mall. If you don't hear from me for a while it is because I have some reading to do.

I have had a quick look at the photos in the book and there are a lot of great photos of when she and her siblings were younger. There are some dresses to be added to the best dress section. And best of all were some Jill took of Hayley especially one of Hayley taken for the very first demo album and a later one of her hanging from a tree(my favourite one).

Hi Belinda, Thank you for the snippets. Hehe - it does indeed sound like an interesting read. I'm not surprised that she mentioned HWI and Andrew's ties but it's still good to hear that she did. Stephany

This is going to be a fantastic read. I'm lucky because my October 25th lecture got cancelled. Do you think it's because the lecturer needs to go to the bookstore? Hello Stephany! The lecture was cancelled because the lecturer knows you need to go to the bookstore! Love, Richard

Ross, It's also in The Press online.. www.stuff.co.nz/thepress/4242790a6009.htmlAs for the Shirley Mall - don't you mean The Palms? You can't say things like Shirley Mall anymore.. or Linwood Mall.. we're an up-and-coming place; the old names are bad ~Chris

Hello everybody! It's not right to call Darren Henley a ghost writer, because his name is clearly stated. Hayley did the talking and Darren did the writing, so the book is exactly as it says on the cover. Six days to wait in the UK! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard :je

Hi everyone, I'm not familiar with book sales in the UK so I was wondering: do you think Hayley's new book will be available in all major bookstores (Whsmith, Waterstone's, Blackwell's...) on the day of its release? So far, I have never find Hayley's 'World at Her Feet' but I suspect that the reason for this is because the publisher isn't as 'big' as Virgin Books. I'm just curious - in fact, I don't really know what to expect next week: a search in all the bookstores of Manchester to find the book or rather the sight of a wide display of Hayley's biography in all the major bookstores? Hi Stephany,
I have been wondering the same thing. My guess is that the major stores in the big cities are likely to stock it but the smaller branches in the provincial towns may not necessarily do so. Perhaps it would be worth enquiring if you are passing one of them in the next day or so and place an order if necessary. That is what I will do next time I'm in town.

Hello Stephany and Roger! I remember buying the previous book in Books Etc the day before it was due to be published. I'd better start looking for the new one next Wednesday! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hi Stephany
I would certainly expect Hayley's book to be on sale on Thursday and available as soon as the store opens. The degree of display coverage will vary, but most of the stores you mention have a "New Books" section and it will certainly be in that.
It may even be available in supermarkets like ASDA, I looked in my local one an hour ago and they have loads of biography's at around £10/£11.
The reason we don't see "The World At Her Feet" is most likely because it's been out a while and Hayley was nowhere near as well known when it was published as she is now.
Even though I bought my copy two years ago, in Waterstones, it was very hard to find. They had two copies on a shelf with only the spines visible, whereas, with newer release they usually have at least one copy with the full jacket showing.
Love Grant xxx
