Hi Belinda, As I understand it, the copies available in the UK were shipped in from New Zealand. At least, that's what Penguin NZ told me by email. So, whatever is available in NZ is what we've got here. If there is a version with the alternative cover, I would love to get my hands on a copy. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifKeith

Hello again everybody! During the last two days I looked in Ottakar's bookshops at Bromley, Slough and Windsor, but I couldn't find Hayley's biography in any of them. I still can't find it in WH Smith or Waterstone's anywhere, but most branches of Borders have it in stock. A thought on the title. I wonder if "A Dream Come True" was considered, but then somebody realised it was the title of Becky Taylor's first album? Bye for now, Richard

I still can't find it in WH Smith or Waterstone's anywhere I'm talking to myself again! It looks as though some branches of Waterstone's are now stocking Hayley's biography. Yesterday afternoon I saw two copies in the Classical Music section on the third floor of the Piccadilly Branch, price £12.99. Then I went home to watch Hayley's performance in the VE Day concert at Trafalgar Square. I've posted a short review on the "Hayley in Concert" section of the Forum. Bye for now, Richard

Hayley will be releasing her biography "Hayley Westenra - The World at Her Feet" on 3 November 2004 in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Hi folks, Well, nearly thirteen months after my first post above announcing the news of Hayley's bio book...today I finally have a copy of my own. Although I've only read a few pages so far, I am enthralled by how Hayley has grown both as a person and as a singer. Even as a small child, Hayley has always shown great consideration towards her family and teachers. It was fascinating to read about the evolution of the 'Pure' CD...and how it almost wasn't to be. I admire Hayley's determination to get 'Wuthering Heights' on her album. The color pics contained in the book are *gorgeous*. The pictures of Jill and Gerald with baby Hayley are lovely! This is indeed a special addition to my Hayley collection. I shall bring the book along with me to Easton; hopfully Hayley can autograph it for me. Also, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate my very good friends Roger and Dave on your promotions on the forum! Your hard work and tireless determination to spread Hayley's good works are commended!

Hello Joe! I'm glad you've got Hayley's biography at last, and I bet you're enjoying it. I've read it several times at home, but whenever I see a copy of it in a bookshop I have to pick it up and read a few pages! I guarantee you'll be an even bigger fan of Hayley by the time you've finished reading it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Richard, I've read the entire book...yes, I am an ever bigger fan of Hayley now!! It's a fascinating account of Hayley's amazing "odyssey" so far...and her remarkable care and concern for both her family and her fans. I didn't know that 'Pure' was scrapped early on...we're so glad that it finally was made! Oh, I'm so glad HWI had a mention...page 152...'Outside there were fans with "Hayley Westenra International" in gold on their jerseys, who'd driven four hours to get a video to put on their website and to give Hayley a present. Hayley had been delayed backstage and the driver said, "If you'd come ten minutes ago, there'd have been a hundred more (fans)."' Hoping for a sequel to the book... Joe

Hi Joe,
Although I was there that night (at the Jose Carreras concert), it was only as a Hayley fan - not as part of HWI. Keith and Simon, to whom the book refers, were not there at all. The event mentioned on Page 152 was actually two nights later - the Sergent Cancer Care Christmas Concert which all three of us attended. The story is true in all other respects. Oh well, what's 48 hours between friends!

Ressuciting this thread from the dead....! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHoping for a sequel to the book... Joe So much has happened in Hayley's career since the release date of this biography...I'm sure she could easily fill another volume. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI still need to buy this one, though. I'm just afraid that I won't learn much because I read so many articles here at HWI and sometimes I feel like there's nothing really new about Hayley I could discover. So is this book really worthwhile?

In a word, Stephany: Yes! Especially as you can now get it for around half the original price... it's essential reading for all Hayley fans! Cheers, Dave

I ordered my copy today with the last bits of this month's entertainment budget! With Treasure, Celtic Treasure, A New Journey, Live in New Zealand, Hayley has figured prominently in the budget this month.

Hi Toronado, You'll find you will refer to it over & over again.
It's a 'can't put down' anyhow !!!
Written with love if I may put it that way, Graeme

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Now I just have to forget I ordered it so I don't drive myself nuts wondering when it will arrive!
