I am getting too excited for this I think.
I mentioned it to someone the other day offhand and she said how her husband used to obsessively follow Hayley's TV appearences and not allow anyone near the TV when she was on. He died of a terminal illness last year and she said she should start to follow his example. Her face lit up at the mere mention of Hayley and she gave great comfort and happiness to a man who knew he was dying. I found it so touching.
Not sure why I felt the need to share that.

Not sure why I felt the need to share that. Because I think this forum is all about sharing Nicola. It is a touching story as you said - thank you for sharing it. Best wishes Grant

Hmmm Interesting ! and I know it's off topic ! the associations in your post have crossed my mind in some scrambled ways a few times in the last couple of years , I wonder if there is a scientific or medical explanation ?

This reminds me of the request Katherine Jenkins got a few years ago whereby she was asked to sign a CD sleeve for somebody who had died and the CD was going in the coffin with him, even though it was a strange request Katherine did it for them. Sorry for the slightly OT post mods Dean

That's fine, Nicola, it is another example of the Hayley 'wow' effect. In fact you've prompted me to do something I thought of doing but then decided not, but I'll check on the Rose thread first in case it has already been posted. That is where you will find my remark if I go ahead here. I'll try and post a link if I manage to do it while I've still got control. Yet another example of the Hayley effect. She's prompted these people to take an initiative which is superb, just through being Hayley. Peter S.

Hi Natalie,
For the Palladium, you need to go to Oxford Circus on the Victoria or Central Line (depending where you're coming from). The venue is literally just around the corner in Argyll Street.
There are many exits from Oxford Circus tube station. Your best route would be to turn right as soon as you come through the ticket barier, then immediately right again and up the steps to street level. Turn right onto Oxford Street and withing ten or twenty yards, turn right again into Argyll Street. You will see Liberty's ahead of you (it isn't far!) but, before you get there, the Palladium is on your left. From the ticket barier to the venue shouldn't take you more than two or three minutes.

I'm Roger! I have also added directions from the tube station which you will pass even if you go to Bond Street. Richard Roger!
