That's okay, Natalie. Actually, if you could retain the red for a week, I'll be able to recognise you!

Really looking forward to this show now its getting very close. Still haven't sorted out how I am getting there. I will be driving down. Normally drop the car on the outskirts to the north of London and tube ride into the city but last twice I have done that the tube has been a disaster, may need a rethink Does anyone know what the policing of photography is like at the Palladium. I have only ever been there for theatrical shows so never worried about carrying a camera before. We have seats in row D so reasonably close

We have seats in row D so reasonably close ISTR that the seating area is so steep that they would need climbing ropes to get to you if you were spotted. I have never really looked, but don't remember ever seeing camera police. Don't know what the rules are though! Martin

Hi guys I brought tickets recently and now can't wait. I too was wondering what the rules are on cameras. I assume people are going to try and meet Hayley. I've booked seats U1 to U3 in the stalls. Looking forward to possibly meeting some of you.

Hi Jake,
Flash photography will be strickly prohibited. Other than that, we won't know the photography policy until the night because it can vary considerably from one venue to another. I have also heard that the production team gave some of our members a significant problem in Oxford last night (memory cards were deleted) but they were in the front row. As you will be further back, you may get away with it provided you are discrete.
Yes, we will try to meet Hayley and we are usually successful but I have to say it can never be absolutely guaranteed. I am not aware that the Palladium has any indoor public space where an official 'meet and greet' could take place so it may mean waiting outside the artists door until she departs. She is usually happy to spend a few minutes with us but, if it's cold, I hope she won;t be kept waiting long. Also, I seem to recall, waiting outside the stage door at this particular venue literally means queueing up amongst the dustbins!
If, for some strange reason, you would like to say hello to any of us(!) either before, during or after the event, look out for anyone wearing a blue tartan tie, or possibly a sweatshirt with "Hayley Westenra International" on it. It will be one of us. The same goes for anyone else who thinks they may have spotted us.
Hope to see you there.
Roger

Thanks for the comments on photography. I would never use flash so that's never an issue. I will only have the compact if I take anything (the DSLR is saved for outdoor shows as its so obvious indoors). Deleting memory cards sounds very heavy-handed, I don't see the obsession that some theatres have with stopping images being taken. They are clearly for personal memories and shared forums like these (and not for professional use) and do no harm, as long as flash is not used. Will put the compact in my pocket for Sunday and hope it works out. Hopefully, I can catch up with some of the other HWI members and maybe meet Hayley after the show too, especially as I will have my Mum with me and she has never met Hayley yet

Hello everybody! I expect most people will be taking the London Underground to Oxford Circus on Sunday. Unfortunately the Victoria Line will be closed for engineering work, but the Bakerloo and Central Lines should be running normally. Two days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

For your information there are no parking charges on a Sunday afternoon in this part of London so providing you know where you are going you will probably find a parking space - I have for both JA's appearances there - parked right outside the Palladium for the Don Black show but I am used to driving around London and know where the possibilities are!

Following on Roger's point, Jake (and welcome too by the way), the problem at Oxford was the announcement which specifically said '...no FLASH photography...'. The stewards thrust into the dirty end were very personable about their insistence on the part of the tour management (from which i guess they mean 'financial sponsors') in insisting on deletion.
Whom so ever, I don't know did use flash photography which put the 'police' on guard and attentive for all. That was inflammatory. I did point out to the stewards (as I happened to be by Gordon when he was approached) that they need to get back to whomsoever who made the announcement (assuming it will be the same person at The Palladium) by stating FLASH photography he is explicitly implying nonflash is okay. That is a fair assumption. If they mean 'no photography at all', then they should specifically say so.
I think the problem here is probably accountants. My presumption on the set-up is that someone (who judging by their attitudes are not the usual 'theatrical angels') see total 'copyright for financial exploitation' to ensure regaining their money and making profit.
Were I of such substance as to be an 'angel' I can assure you the theatrical spirit would over-ride. In fact I've made a promise to myself, were i ever to reach that status I would have an announcement made that photography is welcomed PROVIDED that those doing so do not in any way disturb the performers or their fellow patrons.

Hi All
Just been checking back through the five pages to see who will be there tomorrow night. For some reason I could not find any entry that four of us would be attending! Well, after checking my tickets I can confirm there will be four of us there in D26 - D29. I am really looking forward to tomorrow night and another chance to meet up with you all.
See you there!
George

There will be a point when they eventually won't bother checking for cameras, simply because hardly anyone uses them anymore. They use their mobile phones! I'm not one to usually wait around for a meet and greet, but I am really hoping to have Hayley sign an album for my auntie, who, due to taking care of her sick husband, cannot make it tomorrow night. She absolutely adores Hayley and still hasn't the chance to see her live (her husband needs full time care). I would love to surprise her with a signed CD with her name on it. I already have 'Pure' signed by Hayley. I have 'River of Dreams' for her to sign... but the cover is really dark? Where would she sign? Or would it be wiser to find a silver pen of some type? Would she have the pens? I don't know how autograph signing works! Done it one other time with Katherine, and we only waited for about 10 minutes before she came out, signed everyones things, said hello, and had photos taken. __________ My seats are quite far back. And off to the side. H34-35. I'm dragging my best friend with me.

Hello everyone
I'm very much looking forward to my third and final Valentines concert although I suspect getting round London tomorrow may be a pain with so many underground lines closed!
I hope I get to meet up with some of you before the concert but as I'm staying in Croydon, I'm not sure what time I will get back into Central London.
Hope to get there eventually!
Best wishes Grant
