Well now we know! Once again Hayley has returned from her summer holiday with another leap forward in the quality of her voice, exactly as I predicted she would last year.
It is interesting to speculate how this change in her voice in the direction of more power and I think slightly improved diction came about. Could it be those singing lessons she had in NZ? If so perhaps we have Dame Malvina to thank for Hayley's repeated ability to improve on perfection.

Since the SoP debate of which we were uncertain if she was miming to a two or three year-old recording, I've been concerned she may have slipped back a bit. What I did notice is that her time in NZ has re-inforced her natural Kiwi twang but when she does slip into 'Kiwi' it is more clear-cut than it used to be--or perhaps I'm getting more familiar with its sound? I think it is a lovely accent she has when she 'slips'. Peter S.

Hi Peter,
I thought Hayley's diction was quite poor on her early (pre-Pure) recordings, so it is something she must have worked at, probably with Dame Malvina. Part of that might be her Kiwi accent as you say, and like you I love her accent anyway. Her Kiwi accent is still less pronounced than the other members of her family I'm sure. Have a listen to Sophie on the Ashburton videos for example. Perhaps that comes from having lived a quarter of her life in London.

I have conveyed the wishes from so many fans from both camps for further joint concerts to Steve Abbott. You never know, it just might improve the chances just a little bit... and he did ask me for feedback!
I also passed on everyone's support for a joint album.

Hello Roger
Thanks for that! Hayley and Jonathan certainly seem to have very much enjoyed working together so, solo careers permitting, lets hope it happens.
Best wishes Grant

I also passed on everyone's support for a joint album. Those that were unable to get to a concert and have seen some Youtube downloads etc are certainly wishing for one Graham

Hi Roger,
I would fully support any further joint concerts and albums. I think many more fans would be made for both Hayley and Jonathan if it happens. Thank you for anything you can do.

This tour has been a revelation I think. Those of us who love Hayley have seen yet another wonderful leap forward in her development. I think there are also quite a few of us here who have come to realise too what a fine singer Jonathan is. I have certainly been very impressed by him. I think some of Jonathan's fans have been similarly impressed by Hayley. Both artists have won new fans as a result of this collaboration. It is all win-win! I hope we will see them working together again in the future. Judging by the reviews and Andy's videos, the was an awesome concert! I have said before that one day Hayley will be a legend like Caruso. Could that apply to Jonathan too, he is at least as good as Mario Lanza in my opinion. Both Jonathan and Hayley are intense and passionate performers, perhaps that is why they perform so well together. And as a similarly intense person myself, I love it!

It's so lovely that Hayley fans are now liking Jonathan too. We certainly are all in a win - win situation....there has been nothing negative at all. We have had the pleasure of last year when Jon became a solo artist watching him develop each time we saw him almost....from going to watch him him on tv programmes , to appearing in a church event , to outdoor proms, and Night at The Opera tour. Personally I am astounded at the rate his performances have grown. Early last year there was even talk of him doing a Pavarotti tribute show in Las Vegas....he was picked because he could reach the high C's., although this has been shelved at present. And now, the fusion of Hayley and Jon's voices are proving to be a massive success. I So, So hope for another tour and a duets album like many others and I'm pleased that it's been passed on to Steve Abbott. Many thanks once again for all the wonderful reviews and photos. Here's to the next time.

In case the powers that be pop onto the forums any time to gauge reaction, to Hayley and Jonathan, I would just like to add my voice to those wishing for a duets album! Even though I haven't been able to attend any of the concerts this time, I have loved being able to join in with all the enthusiasm by reading everyone's fantastic, detailed reviews, so thank you to all who have posted! I've watched most of the videos now and would definitely be in the queue for a cd.
Congratulations on such a successful tour Jonathan and Hayley.

Well, Christine, I'm not sure what powers that be you are thinking of, but we know that Hayley has been aware of, and sometimes acted on suggestions that have been posted here. For further collaboration such as the duets album we would all love, Jon and his people would have to be on board too. I would suggest that an album like that, assuming the duets were classical, would be a guaranteed no 1 in the Classic FM chart. After all, both Hayley and Jon have had chart success individually, so together it ought to work too. Hayley has now done several things that have never been done before, with great success. I think of Pure, an album unlike anything ever done before, and also her Japanese Songs album. There are her most successful ventures, and I'm sure a duets album with Jonathan would sell very well. In any case, I feel that people in this country want to buy Hayley's albums, but there aren't enough that are available in the shops.

Well since the start of this tour I have ordered 2 of Hayley's albums! To have a DUET'S album with Jonathan would be a good move for their promotion. That's my opinion anyway!!
I am here with a general question....... Can someone please tell me the complete running order of all the songs sung? I have read pages & pages of reviews but am stuck on where a couple fit in!
You would think, having been to 5 gigs, that I would remember.... But there are just a few tweaks that I need...........
Thanking you all for the wonderful reviews and pics! ALL VERY special.......... Thank You! Chelle xx
