Hi everyone
With the Valentine's Tour just a week or so away it occurs to me that most of us have only heard three or four duets between Hayley and Jonathan. While they may each sing a couple of their own songs, I guess, this still means there's the likelihood that we will hear at least seven or eight songs we've never heard them sing before at each concert.
I wonder if anyone wants to speculate what songs we might hear them sing?
I may be wrong, but has there ever been a duet of Moon River? I think they could do it brilliantly (though I'd love Hayley to do it on her own as well), and with lines like "two drifters, off to see the world..." I think it could work as a duet.
Sorry mods, not sure if I should have opened up a new thread for this?
Kind regards
Colin

Hello Colin! This thread is fine, but I'm not going to make any speculations. All will be revealed very soon now. Richard

I'm like Richard and not going to speculate Colin. We know they have 'Un Giorno Per Noi', 'Amigos Para Siempre' and 'Today Won't Come Again' under their belts, so anything else will be a great bonus to me )

Roll on Oxford, Bradford and Bristol! I've just read on the Official Forum that Jonathan is hoping to do a duets CD with Hayley later on. Paddy

It is very gratifying for the whole concept of this tour that it now looks like it is going to be an unqualified huge success. Not only for the audiences but also for Hayley and Jonathan. Concert halls so far have been full and the Eastbourne & Dartford venues are advertising as "all tickets sold". In fact the London Palladium concert is no longer taking bookings online. If this doesn't generate sufficient interest for a joint album then nothing will! I would be very suprised if Universal doesn't take advantage of the situation. Hayley is a solo performer and should always remain so but these occasional ventures into different musical directions (let's not forget Celtic Woman and West Side Story) enable Hayley to extend her versatility and to great success. The UCJ bigwigs are likely to be there on Sunday night - well they were last year for the Night At The Opera closing night. So their reaction to the audience reaction will be key - but I doubt whether that will be too much of a problem Di

Just want to say thanks for the great reviews on here of the Valentine Tour. Not being able to go myself (devastated! ) its been wonderful to read all about it on here and see the lovely photos. I have everything crossed for a duets album - it would be very sad if those lovely duets they have sung on tour were not recorded. Especially Be My Love, All I ask of You, and the song from Bombay Dreams - superb. Love Melody xx

Martin Entirely agree with your sentiments, Martin. Timing would seem to imply release for next year's Valentine but may be that would be too soon with them both being very busy separately. What do other people think? Peter S.

Both she and Jonathan are aware of the interest in a duets album but there are no plans to do one.Best wishes Grant

Aw, I do hope that plans change and that an album is made. This current tour sounds absolutely amazing and I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to go (as I'd imagine would a lot of Hayley's international fans). A recording would to some extent make up for us not being able to see the concerts. Like others have said, I think that Hayley and Jonathan have something very special and I hope that when they say that have no plans, it means that the record company big wigs haven't yet confirmed one..... ?? Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed then.
