Japan Tour - March/April 2009

Apologies if this has been already posted somewhere else and it predates the message left on the official site but, I thought you may like to read it. This was left on Hayley's Facebook a few days ago:

Hey all, konnichiwa!

So I just arrived in Japan yesterday! Today was spent doing interviews/performances in connection to the release of my new Japanese album -'Hayley Sings Japanese Songs 2' (out TOMORROW!). Tomorrow's schedule will be much the same (TV show and interviews)...plus some rehearsing for the tour which starts on the 12th! Busy busy, but enjoying being back in this wonderful country.

Really should be getting to bed, so I'd better sign off, but before I do -a big thanks to all who came out to support me on the Valentines Tour with Jonathan and the re-scheduled River Of Dreams Tour dates...the past month has been just awesome. Thank you.

Today was a momentous day -the first sighting of the famous cherry blossom (sakura)! After my show in Fukuoka this afternoon we took a walk along the river and there it was! Very exciting...
All going well here... Having a wonderful time... Great audiences, great touring band... Yes, I'm a lucky girl.

Oh well done, Richard, love it! However, is either still currently made? I've used shoe cream from Clark's for years now and that comment takes me back to school days! Reminds me of thin tins with a butterfly clip to lift the top lid off.

Certainly is Peter, I use it all the time. Despite the brand name it was actually invented in Australia!

But they didn't have 'noir' on it in my day. It was a British Commonwealth import to the motherland and if someone didn't understand English you just shouted at them more loudly!

Hi Peter,

Is that where I have gone wrong all these years, trying to learn foreign languages? I managed to learn enough Swedish and French to get by living in those countries, only to find everyone wanted to speak to me in English!
Well, if I have gone wrong I guess I am in good company, since Hayley likes to learn languages too, like Japanese (phew, back on topic).
