Hello everyone,

Hayley's official Japanese website is currently showing details of the March/April 2009 tour, similar or the same as above but I haven't yet checked all the details. As a new album is scheduled for release at the same time I think it is now reasonable to assume that this tour is now official (though we need to check the individual dates etc.).

I don't want to make any boasts of psychic abilities, but if you read my contribution to the "Predictions for 2009" thread you will see that I was spot on!

March - Hayley's new Japanese album, imaginatively titled "Hayley Sings More Japanese Songs" is released in Japan, and in the middle of the month Hayley flies out to Japan to promote it. The album is a huge success, entering the top five in the main Japanese pop chart. Hayley performs a number of concerts in various locations in Japan to packed audiences. The new album is considered by fans to be even better than HSJS. HWI membership passes 350, thanks mainly to an influx of new Japanese members.

April - Hayley's three week tour of Japan ends, and Hayley returns for a few days to NZ to celebrate her birthday with her family. She then returns to London to start work on recording her fourth international Album.

That's a wonderful start. I even got the dates right! Lets hope the rest of my predictions are as good! If so, this will be the greatest amd most succesful year of Hayley's life so far.

Well done, Martin on your predictions.

BUT, as well as the fourth album and okay that must take priority so maybe not for at least six months, is it possible we cold have a world release perhaps The Best of Hayley Singing Japanese Songs? Presumably the fourth album would place for consideration in The Brits 2010?

Ideally they would make both Japanese song album available worldwide?

I think it shows us how important Japan is to Hayley's career, Japanese Album (1) seems to have sold over 50,000 copies which is more than Treasure did in Japan the US or NZ and is not a million miles short of Treasure in the UK. It's also more than half of what Pure sold in Japan in the same timescale, and none of Hayley's follow-up albums has done that well in any other Country. I think CD prices are higher in Japan too, so that makes it even better!

Presumably, Hayley has been doing equally well in her tours... and from your Kiwi point of view, it's closer to home than being in Europe or North America! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Your Japanese statistics made interesting reading.

I've had a look at the venues quoted and their capacities are quite staggering at 6500/7000 for the majority so it will be interesting to see how tickets sell if we get any feedback.

5000 yen for a ticket at today's exchange rate is roundly £38.25

Hi everyone

I think it's amazing to see so many concerts listed for this Japanese tour. It shows how responsive the audience has been to Hayley's music in the past few years (via her concerts or CDs). It appears that she'll be travelling quite a lot around the country so it's nice to see that she won't stay only in the very big cities.

Hayley's fanbase in Japan seems to be growing fast so it's nice to see that she takes the time to go there and spend more than a few days just for promotional purposes.
