Hi everyone
Thanks for the info James. I must say that I was very impressed with AJ's performance at Aberglasney. My impression was that he was more included (if thats the right word) in the performance than perhaps previous guitarists had been. Rather than being on stage at the back, on this occasion, AJ was performing in front of the piano, almost next to Hayley and thinking back, he had quite a few solo moments. I think this must be to do with the fact that he will be playing a bigger part in supporting Hayley, along with whoever the other musicians are in the future.
Best wishes Mark

Thanks to James's pointer to AJ's facebook, there appears to be yet another concert: The Grand Theatre, Lancaster on 31st October. There is certainly a gap in Hayley's schedule on that day.
Roger, I think you know who to ask.
PS. The River Lune.

Hello Drew! According to this list the concert in Lancaster is to be confirmed, just like the concert in Durham that we know has fallen through. I see there's no mention of Cheltenham and the date's wrong for Swansea, so don't get too excited. Richard

Hi Drew,
I don't have much faith in the accuracy of that list. For reasons that Richard has pointed out, it seems to be significantly out of date. My guess is that it was a provisional list in the very early planning stages which explains why nearly all the venues are marked "TBC". Rather than asking Bedlam, I think we will wait until we see the flyers which should be no more than three days away. If Lancaster is included, I will enquire then.
Roger

As far as I can tell, the River of Dreams tour is the 16 dates already posted in this thread and for which tickets are now on (excluding the cancelled Durham show). There was an advert for the tour detailing the 16 concerts we know about and contact details for the venues in the Mail on Sunday last week. I would expect the flyers we see at the weekend to mirror that newspaper advert.
I have scanned in the ad but unfortunately cannot access my Photobucket for reasons unknown. Once I sort that out I will post the flyer/ad unless anyone wants me to email the scan for them to post?
James

How exciting that Hayley is touring in the UK this fall. You are all SO lucky!!!! It is wonderful that her fans will be at everyone of the concerts. Who is the "Special Guest" that will be appearing at some (or all?) of the concerts? My dream when I graduate is to vacation in England and be one of the HWI-ers in the audience!!! Stephanie

Stephanie Hi Stephanie We would love to see you over here and I can assure you that you would be made most welcome As you have probably already read, we just about always have a pre concert get together, which always adds to the whole 'Hayley experience' for me. I know that we are lucky here in the UK to have Hayley perform at so many venues. The other thing about the UK is that compared to the States for example, no where is that far to travel to. I for one do feel guilty to other fans around the world that we do get to see so much of her. How long is it before you graduate, is it likely you could visit the UK next year ? Best wishes Mark

Hi Mark-thanks for saying I will be welcomed by the HWI-ers when I eventually come to England to se Hayley live! To tell you the truth, most of the time when I ask a question on this forum I never get an answer...for example I asked who would be the Special Guest on Hayleys River Of Dreams Tour but no one has replied! Even if they don't know it would be nice if someone could just say that. I don't post here very often I know, I mostly just come on as a visitor and read about Hayley. But I guess you all know each other so you answer stuff to the people that you know! I have 2 years of University left, and then I might go to a Performing Arts school for one year. But that seems a long way away!!! Thanks for your reply to my post Mark Stephanie

Hi All Good news - the tour is advertised in today's Sunday Times and gives www.ticketline.co.uk as the online booking agency. Interestingly, it states that the tour is jointly promoted by Bedlam and Kennedy Street Enterprises which is a well established North of England company. It started business back in the sixties and was the agent for groups such as Freddie and the Dreamers and Herman's Hermits. Martin I fixed the link to Ticketline. Richard

Hi Stephanie Sorry to hear that! The answer at the moment to your question above, is that we don't know. We may not know anything until much nearer the time. I think so far, only one venue on the tour has mentioned a special guest. As soon as anything is known, I'm sure it will be posted here. Sometimes, when the forum is very busy and there is a lot to take in, posts and questions can be missed. If you don't get an answer next time, post a reminder and you should get an answer eventually! Best wishes Grant

As previously mentioned, a small advert for Hayley's River of Dreams tour appeared in the Mail on Sunday last weekend. I assume this is what the flyers will look like if they ever turn up!

I have sent you a PM in which I have endeavoured to explain why we tend to avoid replying merely to say we don't know in the hope that another member may be able to provide the answer. Roger

Hi James, Many thanks for posting. If the flyers will turn up, hopefully with the correct date for Liverpool. Cheers, Karsten

I have researched the capacity of each of the venues which, in a few cases, could only be determined by counting the number of squares on the seating plan and so may not be strictly accurate. Please note that these are maximum numbers and that the front two or three rows are occasionally removed for certain events. Aberdeen .......... 1224 Dunfermline ........ 516 Barrow ............. 529 Newcastle ......... 2135 Lichfield .......... 480 Liverpool ......... 1679 Northampton ....... 1500 Llandudno ......... 1475 Birmingham ........ 1086 Manchester ........ 2330 Cardiff ........... 2000 Bournemouth ....... 1336 Southend .......... 1640 Cheltenham ........ 1000 Leamington ......... 790 Swansea ........... 1018 TOTAL ............ 20738 AVERAGE .... nearly 1300 per venue. If anyone knows of any figures that are incorrect (by more than about 10 or so), please let me know. Roger
