See that, Gordon? Grant is getting excited at the prospect of meeting us! I knew somebody would one day! I just didn't think it would be him! Okay Grant. Either you wait for us for 29 minutes or we'll wait for you for 10. I'm getting excited now! Roger

I'm also looking forward to Hayley's concert at Barrow tomorrow night. Would I be right in saying that this is Hayley's first concert in Cumbria? If so, do you think there is a good chance that she will "meet & greet" her fans afterwards? Les

Thanks to all for you good wishes for us tomorrow.
I have sorted out my warm hat ,coat and gloves so will be well prepared for whatever the weather has to offer.
As a matter of interest Grant,Roger and I will be travelling to Newcastle via Lancaster and Carlisle as that route was cheaper.
Looking forward to a great evening with Hayley.
Gordon

Hi Guys,
Have a great night! It snowed in the East midlands too, or at least Rugby and Leicester. It also snowed on the night I first saw Hayley perform back in 2004. It is a good omen!

Hi all, Dean and Cumbrian, if you spot any of us at any time, please introduce yourselves. I look forward to meeting you both. Mark, if you want to come you'll be most welcome but, in view of what others have said, please bring a shovel! Cumbrian, without checking through my records I cannot be absolutely sure but I think this will be Hayley's first appearance in Cumbria. That alone won't improve the chance of a meet and greet but there is a good chance we will get to see her for a few minutes whether there is an official signing or not. It is never guaranteed and we may have to wait some time but it will be worth it! Dean, if there is still a demand for tickets, that can only be good for Hayley. You never know, they may unknowingly be increasing the chances of her coming back another time. You're right, Martin, it was snowing on the night you first saw Hayley. I was there too. Who knows, I might have sat next to you. It doesn't matter now though because you still joined! I will be leaving in just over ten hours from now! Roger

Hi Roger,
That is a night I will never forget! The time I was totally overcome by the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. I distinctly remember seeing someone wearing a HWI top, and wondering what "Hayley Westenra International" was. Could that have been you? I also remember a small blonde lady wandering about in front of the stage (Hayley's mum?).

Hi Martin, Yes, that was almost certainly me. I don't recall any other members being there that night or, if they were, I didn't know them. And yes, Jill was near the front of the stage, probably carrying a camera so large that she needed to wheel it around in a Barrow. Phew, back on topic! Roger

Enjoy Hayley's performance up in Barrow today! The UK Met office is forecasting rain and wind with temperatures at 4C. We had a wee bit of snow (5 inches) on Tuesday...so keep in mind how fast the weather conditions can change. Have a wonderful time! Joe
