Hi Tin Hi Colin, I'd be really pleased if you can try ripping the CD into your computer hard disk (ie. Import the songs in to iTunes, if you're using it). Can you try it if you have time? Thank you. Tin I can also now confirm that iTunes on the PC reads the CD as well. Kind regards Colin

Hi Colin,
It's so heartening to know that the PC shouldn't have much problem reading a SHM CD. Thanks for you help. Now the only thing I do is wait.
Tin

This album is currently no. 41 in the main Amazon Japan ranking - which is good for a Hayley release in Japan. It is no. 1 at HMV Japan in the Easy Listening section and this means it gets promoted on their main front page. It will be next week before we find out how it's doing in the official charts. Dave

Hello Dave, This is great news -- I hope Hayley's Japanese album does well in the charts. Because it probably means there will be other exclusive CDs like this one in the future! Or so I hope. You can also buy the tracks online on HMV.co.jp. Samples of the 11 songs are available on this same site. It sounds amazing! I particularly like 'I believe' and Hayley's version of 'Yuki No Hana' (a famous J-Pop song!). Stephany

Dave I see that the Special Edition is at No 1 and the standard version at No 20. Does this mean that they are treated as distinct albums for their chart positions, or is this just how HMV records them? It would seem a little unfair if they were separated in the charts. Kind regards Colin

Hi Colin, I also noticed that three different versions of Sarah's Symhony and three of Andrea's Vivere: The Best of are also on the chart. It seems to me that the Japan branch of HMV does like to count things separately. By the way, it's so good to see that Hayley's new album is No. 1 in the chart, very heartening. Cheers, Tin

Hi Joyce, Wow, that is great news! I guess my copy will be in the mail today too. Unfortunately I won't be home till about 11 pm, so I'll have to be patient a little longer than you. It is frustrating to be here at work, knowing that the CD is already sitting in my mail box at home!
