No, no. I'm not crazy! I'm not the type to run after rarities for an obscene amount of money, but I'm glad that people do, otherwise I would be in a lot of debt right now! Yes, I've sold some of my rarities from all kinds of artists, and I'm not sorry to let them go either. I either got them by accident or when they were readily available (the Wuthering Heights deleted single by Hayley are among the CDs I've let go). Actually, two hours ago someone bought a CD single from me for £40! It was 'Running Up That Hill' by Within Temptation in case you were curious. Yes. A Kate Bush cover.

I think I'm the guilty one for leading this a bit off topic. ! Have you heard Nightwish's cover of 'Walking In The Air'? Their PotO makes me cringe though. Erm, I'm not sure how to bring this back to Hayley... ... she covered Walking in the Air too!

In a nutshell, what is the difference between the normal CD and the Deluxe edition? Also, I noticed on youtube that Hayley sings some of these songs in Japanese, and some in English. Does the CD contain English and Japanese versions? Sorry for asking, but I haven't been following this thread. This info is probably contained earlier, but I didnt fancy going through 29 pages

Hi Irish Hayley Fan
Deluxe edition.........first 11 tracks are just the same as normal version...............bonustrack (12) on deluxe edition, is the same as track 4,(Shiroi Irowa Koibitono Iro/White Color) but sung in Japanese. The Deluxe edition has an extra Photo Booklet. (take a look somewhere page 10 of this thread)

In my opinion, and that of at least one other member, the extra track is worth paying for. There is an ambience about the Japanese version of that song that is quite beautiful, and that is not captured in qute the same way by the Enginsh version, excellent though it is. The songs are nearly all sung in English. Only Amazing Grace and Time have any Japanese content, plus Shiroi Irowa Koibitono Iro on the deluxe version. This is far and away the best album Hayley has made in my opinion. I absolutely love it! I feel ost out here in Australia, since I don't have it with me, and at home it has not been off my car CD plater since it was released, and I bought it on pre-order. Nicola, if you can possibly raise the money get it. You won't regret it.

It's a very nice CD. At first, I thought the songs were quite naïve, buf after quite many listenings, I've come to appreciate them the way they are, and now it's playing all time in my car, and at work too. My favourite is Snowflower, Hayley's voice is so delicate at some phrase endings! Then comes White is the colour of love, very positive and uplifting. I appreciate both versions, english and japanese. Last song to comment is 1000 winds. Put simply, this is the song I want to be played at my funeral. I can't see a more beautiful way to say goodbye.

I used to hate being stuck in traffic !
But now I don't mind one bit.
I have Japanese songs playing in the car now for weeks, It's just such a warm and delightful album.
If I get a long journey I put on Odyssey with Dido's Lament on it, which I have overlooked for some time because I only have it on one version of Odyssey.

I set 5 Hayley's CDs in my car. But it requires me months to listen to all of the songs because my office is only 5 km away from my home. I only can listen to 2 or 3 songs for 1 way. When her Japanese songs were released and I began to listen, I couldn't get out of the car after arriving at the parking lot wanting to keep listening till the end of the song.
Once a colleague of mine asked me, "Why do you stay in the car?" In stead of answering his question, I just opened the door and let him hear the song. The next week he was doing the same behavior with me.

Hi! Newbie here, so I want to be sure before I post... are we allowed to talk about how to purchase the album using iTunes Japan?
It can be done, but I don't really know the legality of it, so I don't know if I can post about it...
