Best wishes Grant Hello Roger & Grant, I also love Lisa's album. She has a lovely voice and I like to listen to her songs especially when I need to study. It creates a very relaxing atmosphere! My personal second favourite also changes quite regularly but at the moment it has to be Kerry Ellis. She's probably the best performer you can find on the West End these days. Kerry heads to Broadway next month to re-create her role of Elphaba in the New York version of the musical "Wicked". Her album is out very soon and I'm very impatient to get it. I've seen her twice live and she's an absolute star performer! I'm definitely taking my family to see her this summer in New York. I've been told that she litterarily eclipsed Josh Groban and Idina Menzel at the Royal Albert Hall last week. They were celebrating the 20th aniversary of the musical "Chess" and it was recorded for a DVD to be released in December. Kerry had a small part but I've seen some videos on Youtube and she nailed all of her songs. She's also a real sweetheart in person! Stephany

I would obviously have to say my daughter Siobhan ( www.siobhanowen.com) who is still only 14 and is already a favourite of many in South Australia! For the male I'd definitely choose Bryn Terfel - just love his beautiful barritone voice. Sheila I made the link to Siobhan's website clickable. Richard

Hi everyone
While Hayley is undoubtedly my No. 1 female singer, I think my No. 2 would be Heather Nova. She has a clear and crystalline voice as well, though her style is more in the singer-songwriter/soft rock tradition. I would however heartily recommend her Redbird CD to just about any fan of Hayley's - it is more mellow than her rockier early stuff, and has a couple of outstanding tracks in I Miss My Sky and Motherland. Indeed, in the last couple of years she has toured with Fiona Pears on violin and Ian Tilley on piano, names not unfamiliar to most people here!
Kind regards
Colin

Hayley is, and have been since I discovered her, my nr. 1 favorite. My second favorite varies frequently, although it's been fixed on Michael Stipe (of R.E.M.) for quite some time now. His singing in "The Great Beyond" and "At My Most Beautiful" is truly superb.

Hello Everyone,
At least my #1 favorite singer is easy...HAYLEY!
#2 is a harder choice, it is neck to neck with Meav & Lisa...That is a tough choice for me.
My Best, Howard

I would obviously have to say my daughter Siobhan ( www.siobhanowen.com) who is still only 14 and is already a favourite of many in South Australia! ...I have been listening to Siobhan's music on her website and on myspace and I've been very impressed! My favourite is My Lagan Love - definitely the best version I have heard. I'm seriously considering purchasing her Purely Celtic CD. She is definitely one to keep an eye out for! Without being disrespectful to Siobhan (and other singers), I just feel that Hayley's voice is superior. No other singer's voice has the same effect on me as Hayley's does. Other singers that I really like listening to are Christy Moore, Delta Goodrem and Dolores O'Riordan.

My first favourite is still Hayley, but my second favourite (male) is Jonathan Ansell & my second favourite (female) is a tie between, Elizabeth Marvelly, Siobhan Owen, and Lynn Hilary. But I'm sure they'll change soon!

This is a tough one....but I'll say Lisa Kelly (right with you Roger)...but then All Angels! wait, no I think it could also be Cara Dillon. oh oh and Sarah McLachlan...I'm having trouble.
Anna Netrebko she's amazing! I love her version of "Song to the Moon", just captivating.
