... Apparently, she is only 15! Chloe's personal blog on the official CW website indicates that she's already had her 17th birthday: www.celticwoman.com/listEntry.asp?idAuthor=16 From what I've seen, getting teenage singers' ages correct is a tricky thing since they have birthdays every 365 days. Until just recently Hayley was still listed as 18 on the Houston orchestra's site.

Thanks for the correction, Steve. I now realise my information came from the first CW DVD which was recorded, apparently, two birthdays ago. Roger

Hayley's Scaborough Fair just rips my heart out! She has a fabulous take on it - and gives the song highly powerful emotions. Her Last Rose of Summer with Meav is also breathtaking. I wonder who's going to sing this duet with Hayley during the US tour. Or maybe she will sing it all by herself? Stephany: There is something about the sweetness and elegance of Scarborough Fair that to my mind lends itself to a seemless merging with the person we know Hayley to be. In other words, born to the song. I agree too on the Last Rose of Summer. This was the song that made my wife sit up and take notice. From the first Celtic Woman concert she felt Maev's voice was second to none. After hearing them sing together, she was astonished that this "little girl" could deliver such power and beauty.

My first highlight was the last Rose of Summer. My vision blurred over immediately. I love it to bits. After seriously listening to the DVD 'The Blessing' by cute little Lisa Kelly stole my heart. Graemek PS I'm hopelessly biassed for 'our Hayley' so I won't mention Scarborough Fair & Lascia. That White Dress & that Gold Dress...oooohhhh...

The white dress looks indeed gorgeous on the pics. Awwwh I can't wait to have my DVD; I had to cancel my order on HMV.co.uk because they're still not sending it over. I ordered it from another place - so hopefully I will get it soon!
Does Hayley appear in the making of ??

Thanks, Comet. Now I'm getting more and more impatient. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI think they should really do a clip of one of the songs to promote the album and DVD. It's a highly effective publicity tool.

Hi All
At last it looks as though I'll find some time tonight to watch my copy of the DVD.
I've played the first couple of minutes and it seems to go straight into the concert although I've read that there is a production documentary under "extra's.
Are there two versions of this DVD? Or have I not watched enough to get to it?
Guess I'll find out one way or another tonight!

Hi Grant, I also found the DVD begins automatically with the concert. Having watched it, use the remote to bring up the main menu. You can access the extras from there. Roger

Hello Grant! You should find the menu appears automatically at the end of the concert, but you've probably already found that out by the time you've read this! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you soon, Richard

Watched this DVD last night. OMG!!! It is….
Right from the beginning, Hayley shone, though I feel anyone not knowing would be hard pressed to realise that she is the newest member. Having said that, I thought all the girls were brilliant and there was not one song that I didn’t like.
I love dramatic openings and “The Sky and The Sea and The Sun” was certainly that! And what about Mairead’s fiddle playing? Including a bit of Irish dance – absolutely unbelievable. In fact her talent seems to have no bounds and I was spellbound by her gazelle like antics during her playing. My favourite is Lisa though, and I agree with Graeme, The Blessing is gorgeous.
Now Hayley’s Scarborough Fair; I’ve read a lot of comments posted about this and I was looking for the ‘hand on heart’ moment and agree, it is a magical moment, and is difficult to place any other performance above it, especially as Hayley complimented the moment with the most beautifully tender facial expression. I also thought her entrance was stunning with her crossing one foot in front of the other with such grace as she approached. You just knew that something special was about to happen and Hayley never fails to deliver.
Another highlight for me was Lascia Ch’io Pianga from Hayley with a surprisingly serious and stationary Mairead. And Hayley’s gold dress WOW!! After initially seeing a small picture of Hayley wearing it, I felt, somehow, it just wasn’t her, but seeing all the detail and how Hayley carried herself, I changed my mind immediately.
Spanish Lady is another favourite and I particularly loved the shaking shoulders and all the smiles which showed just how much they are all enjoying themselves. Also, Shenandoah as an instrumental was new to me and I loved it. I can still see Mairead dashing from one side of the stage to the other with her hair and dress trying to keep up!
Mo Ghile Mear is brilliant; and You Raise Me Up is probably my favourite song with all the girls together. Altogether a totally wonderful and moving experience.

It is extremely nice to hear so, Comet. Thanks for the update! Grant - your DVD review was lovely to read. I also really like "The Sky, The Dawn and The Sun" because everyone seems to have so much fun and the ladies' voices blend so perfectly. Mairead is impressive on stage! Now, did you find the making of bonus on your CW DVD?
