I Emailed Amazon.com yesterday about this DVD and their reply is reproduced below:-
"Thank you for writing to us at Amazon.com.
Some DVDs are released without region codes (or are labelled
as "Region 0" or "All Regions"). However, the great majority of
current DVD releases are encoded, and will play in only one region.
As noted on our web site, we can only guarantee that the DVDs we
sell will work with Region 1 (U.S. and Canadian) DVD players. We do
not currently have a way to search for Region 0 DVDs.
You may be able to find more information about the encoding of
Celtic Woman - A New Journey: Live at Slane Castle, Ireland by
visiting our partner site, the Internet Movie Database
www.imdb.com/The only information we can give you about a particular video or DVD
is what we display on the detail page for that item. Usually, we
have the title, leading actor, and release date. Sometimes we have
a short synopsis, review, and an image of the cover. From a movie's
detail page, click on the words "technical information" to see all
the information available on our web site.
Our editorial staff is constantly gathering more information about
our products in an effort to help you make more informed choices.
Also, I wanted to let you know that our Customer Service centers are
not in the same location as our fulfillment centers. Amazon.com
offers hundreds of thousands of items in our own inventory, and the
fulfillment center buildings enclose millions of square feet. In
addition, many of our fulfillment center processes are automated and
computerized.
For these reasons, we are unable to check the physical details of an
item for you. Our information is limited to what the publishers and
manufacturers supply to us; this information appears on our Web site.
We are constantly working to improve and expand the information that
appears on each item's product detail page. However, if you
discover that an item you receive is not what you were expecting,
you are welcome to return it to us within 30 days for a refund.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. We
appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon at
Amazon.com."
This would seem to bear out what Tony has previosly advised.
Hope this helps
